Attacking in character is NOT dependent on OOC response. They're attacking our character(s), not our personal selves. They would expect IC responses. They would expect Fever and Oblivion to get on the mic next week or to get interviewed backstage or to respond in roleplays about how they better not see those guys or they'll beat them up.
And if Greenfever and Oblivion said nothing? If they turned down the matches against them? Pretty easy way to stop an invasion. Like I said, it's not WWE. ---------------
Having an OOC response to this whole situation is just icing on the cake. Whenever I have done my angles, they were not dependent on OOC responses. When I did my Hector Rodriguez angle and it hit the climax of it, that would have sucked if there was no OOC response.

- I was forced out of WCF and vowed revenge.
- I joined a violent street gang during an 8-month angle where I posed as a masked wrestler.
- The street gang left Seth for dead at one point because of something he did to me.
- I started a massive riot during one of WCF's shows and nearly burned the place down.
- I burned down Seth's fucking house on national TV.
- I actually shut WCF down and forced it to start over as an independent promotion.
- Seth finally was able to get rid of my self-owned contract and barred me from WCF just a few weeks ago.

I'm not concerned about the angle, I'm interested in it because I want to see where it goes. The fact that I took the place over last year makes no difference if this group does a takeover. Just because it's a takeover angle might not mean it goes the same way. We could look back months from now and realize that they were nothing alike and it was a unique angle.

Who said anything about a high profile match? We were talking about a match in general. And if it's part of an angle that a masked wrestler who attacked someone gets a high profile match, what difference does that make?

I'm beginning to think that you don't participate in angles and storylines in general. I don't think you understand how they work. for all you know, Seth could book US title matches for each masked person that walks in the door next week. He could book it to where they each purposely lose to the champion but it seems like you would get angry for them all getting title shots even if they were supposed to lose.

I've noticed from your posts in another thread on the OOC board that you put way too much emphasis on winning titles. Like you have some kind of insecurity issue. There's people who have come through here that spent months and months without a title shot and no one thought less of them. No one thought they sucked because they weren't getting them.
I know that I don't suck. I win. Personally, I wouldn't care if I hadn't been given a title shot if it weren't for the fact that half the guys I've beaten have been given one. That's not the issue at hand though. -----------------
That comparison makes no sense in this case. Who is wearing the mask that any of these wrestlers are wearing? Why are they wearing these masks? Why did they attack Greenfever and Oblivion? Why are they declaring war on WCF? You can't answer any of these questions with a real answer until the ones under the masks reveal why they did it.

You picked a random guy that just runs down to the ring, these are masked men. They are masking their identities. How does it make sense to you to compare a jobber in WWE running down to attack world champions to the masked men in the current angle?

Well, what else are they going to do it for, smart guy? Granted, they're doing a pretty crappy job with the 50 word RPs, the redundant masks, and the 275 word attack, but they could be doing even worse if you all wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. -----------------------

You've never seen other wrestlers get what you believe are undeserved title shots? I hope they don't whine as much as you and put titles up on a pedestal or I'd feel sorry for other wrestlers in WWE, TNA, ROH, etc.

No.... It obviously isn't. Obviously things work a little backwards from how they probably should. I'm simply telling you how it should be. Masked men shouldn't be able to randomly run all over the place and clobber the champions, especially when there are already two other masked groups and two real-world federations running take-over angles. People ought to earn the right to do that, not just have it handed to them so that it looks like some wrestlers are being favored over others when that obviously isn't the intended result. ---------------------
However, I've been in e-feds on and off since I was about 13. You can guess how old I am now if I've got a degree. I've got a pretty good understanding of what I'm seeing. --------------
