I agree here for the most part. Not just if it's happened before but because Nexus is doing sort of an invasion angle it makes it sort of lame as well. WCF guys teaming up that normally wouldn't team together. (Jericho/Cena) or here it's (Oblivion/Greenfever) so it has too many things that seem so close to being the WWE product. Not my storyline though so I won't get on the bad side of things here.

We may seem like we are a nation torn apart, with our own bickering amongst each other over trivial matters, but do not underestimate our strength. We can withstand anything that you, or anyone else, can bring.

You said the angle will obviously amount to nothing. You don't even know the angle except for what's happened so far. Like I said before you don't know how it will end or where it will go from here. That has nothing to do with whether or not an RP is done. You're repeating yourself because you have no other argument, not because people aren't getting the one you're putting forth now. When I ran the federation we didn't have our first match or put up roleplays until weeks after the angle started. It wasn't a pointless and useless angle until that first match or roleplay. One other thing, you're acting like this thread was created to get some kind of general opinion on how everyone felt about the angle. You are the one who came in and said you don't give a shit about it until there's a RP up when everyone else was discussing the angle and gathering a group. No one asked you for your opinion. Your response wasn't necessary. Oh and professional wrestling is all about repeated storylines. I think by the year 2000, almost all possible wrestling storylines had already been done. Nearly every storyline that's been done in the last ten years is similar to one that was done in WCW, WWE, or ECW. WWE has been taken over multiple times. WCW has been taken over multiple times. |

Not necessarily a good one, because it lacks any sort of detail or action, but as it is posted in the RP forum, it's an RP. Y'know, except for the fact that someone replied to it and sort of ruined the whole thing. Nevertheless, I maintain that because it is in the RP forum, and was clearly written in character, it is, in fact... a roleplay! If one wanted to critique said roleplay, that's what the feedback forum is for. That is all. We now return you to your regularly scheduled argument. ;D |
