It is good to hear suggestions though. Usually the feedback board is pretty dead, and it's easy to get in the rut of doing things a certain way just because that's how they've always been done.

I wasn't crying about it I was plainly making a suggestion that I thought was logical. RP all you want but just remember you waited to the last day to do it.

Remember that I had no choice. Go check out the other thread and let me know what you end up thinking.

The thing is he didn't wait until the last day - I'm not going to get into his business but he mentioned somewhere else on the board that he's been at the hospital all week. So yeah.

I'm sorry you had to be in the hospital and I'm sorry for your girlfriend but it doesn't mean things haven't happened to me this week either just because I want to keep them secret.

You're not getting it. Just because you always have time to RP throughout the week, a bad week or not, doesn't mean everyone else can be so lucky. There are times when someone won't be able to do ANYTHING, and boom Sunday, they catch a break. Why ruin their chances because of something they can't control, like being in the hospital, or a family member dying, or hell, just work? It's no less fair to anyone. Two RPs in a day probably means a reduction in quality anyway.

I don't always have time to rp during the week. But I do try to set aside time to rp because I'm in a fed and that's what you're suppose to do. Why do two rps in one day and ruin your opponents chances just because they had time to rp and you didn't?

Because life happens. My life sure as hell doesn't revolve around WCF.

Then you realize that when stuff comes up in life, WCF goes out the window. But then it's the day of the show, and you have time. There is already a 3 hour rule, why the fuck would you hinder anyone more? It's always going to be fair. Two RPs a week. It's impossible to have the upper hand.

The problem is that everybody's different. My mom died back in August and this is the first any of you (except Seth) is hearing about it. I didn't feel the need to make it public and it didn't affect my RPing (although I might have been asked to be left off the card one week).
I'm not saying this to insult CD, just pointing out that everyone reacts differently. So what seems completely fair to one of us doesn't to the other. The best solution then is the one that mostly everyone can live with.

I told you, do you rp, take you win. I don't care. If your life is so damn hard then please by all means take your win.

Why, however, would we have a rule that limits those that can't RP after such a tragedy? You being able to bounce back is fine and all, but this rule wouldn't apply to you, then.

Right, what I'm saying is I understand why someone would argue for only allowing one on the last day, so we don't need to be getting all angry about this. But I don't agree with it, and since no one else has ever complained about it, it shouldn't happen. Don't fix what isn't broken.

I didn't have my mother die this week but I did have a rough week and was still able to rp just like you were able to rp.
