Are nomnomnominations still open?
Don't answer that b/c I don't actually care. Here's the nominations:
Wrestler Of The Year: Odin Balfore (two freaking World Titles), Bonnie Blue (hardcore title, tag titles, her first world title and some W's over big names), Michael X (another hardcore, tag, world title year plus TUS winner and the asshole that ran out on the Church)
World Champion Of The Year: Odin Balfore, Dune, YUNG ADAM (see Balfore's explanation above....maybe it's a lifetime achievement award but who cares. The Departed is nowhere near Scorsese's best movie.)
Hardcore Champion Of The Year: Michael X
Television Champion Of The Year: Teo del Sol (it's very recent but this has been some of the most consistently high quality stuff I've seen Teo put out! huzzah!), Kurt Navarro, Tyler Debonair (yeah he's gone but he won it 3 freaking times...also lost it that many times)
Tag Team Champions Of The Year: WMD, VBS (only nominating acronyms for this one)...also, I'll nominate VBS for this every year for the rest of my damn life I don't even care if they actually won the titles or not.
Rookie Of The Year: Noble Savage, Kennedy Matthews, James Wolf, Samuel McPherson (joined in 17, debuted in 18, is he eligible? again, fuck you I don't care)
On the RotY: This category should be STACKED. Abraxas McKnight, Tyler Debnair, Kid Dynamo should all be in this list. Even though we've got a good list, it makes me sad that we had so much talent pass through here and then dip. How can we avoid this? What can make this better? Whose fault is this?
(don't answer that last one, it's rhetorical/obvious: Jayson Price)
Match Of The Year: I'm an arrogant prick and also I barely read matches that I'm not in. I'm sorry.
PPV Of The Year: Til Death (love the name of this in light of WCF carrying on without Seth), Battle of New York, Ultimate Showdown (liked the addition of Alternate showdown)
Roleplay Of The Year: So many people didn't have nominations for this, wtf wcf?! No way you can read everybody's RPs every week but I really suggest reading the top ppl's stuff. Especially come ppv time and whatnot, check out the champions'/challengers' RPs.
Y'all need to start reading the World Title RPs! If you want to get better, read the guys who are always at the top of the card. It will help you get better. Emulate their structure or style while making it your own. When I came back to this dumbass hobby after like 15 years off, I religiously read the top guys' stuff. I cribbed the arrogance/cock suredness of Joey Flash, tried (and mostly failed) to emulate the wordplay of Odin, tried to recreate the deep-seeded insecurities and denied-deperessiveness of Jared Holmes. throw in the story telling of Dune, the match hyping of Teo (he always manages to make it seem like this week/match REALLY matters)...there's more but I'll stop.
At the very least, once the voting goes up, everybody should try and read all the RPs nominated (so you odn't just throw your vote to whoever your favorite is or who you think is overall best...)

(yo Dune is one of the true GOATs of the Dub but this is all-time work from Teo. He lowkey won the match. Suck it, Pune.)
