It's that time of the year once again where we recognize those wrestlers, roleplays and matches that stood out the most this year. On Sunday, December 30th we will hold a special IC show where all of the wrestlers will be announced and will be allowed to make a small speech. Voting will begin 21st and end on the 28th, which will give the winners two days to write and submit and acceptance speeches. But before we get to that point, we need some nominees! So in the rich tradition of WCF I am officially opening up the nomination process to all members. Below are listed the 9 categories that we will be giving out awards to, please choose up to 3 nominees for category. Some rules to follow when nominating:
- Don't nominate yourself, your own RP's or your own matches. Everyone will of course want to nominate themself but this will ensure a larger field of candidates.
- Rookie Of The Year is only open to those that joined and debuted in WCF after January 1st, 2018. Anyone that was previously in WCF and then came back is not considered a rookie.
- Use the accomplishments board if you're unsure/new to WCF and weren't sure who held what titles over the course of 2018.

Wrestler Of The Year
1. Mikey Extreme
Reason: This really has been the year of a few wrestlers. I look at Extreme and see that this year he really peaked and attained what he's been grinding for, for years. Bonnie is in this running too for Similar reasons but the total body of work, I went with Extreme.
2. Bonnie Blue
Reason: For the same reasons as Mikey, this has been a 7 year quest by Bonnie through 2 different characters. I feel as though her work with Sanchez was stunted and could have been better if he didnt leave.
World Champion Of The Year
1. Mikey Extreme
Reason: Mikey has been questing for the world title for years and its always been a question of when he gets it. He got it this year and it was a real feel good moment for a lot of people that have watched him for 3 years
2. Adam Young
Reason: Hear me out. As long as I"ve been here AY has been doing his thing. mixed opinions on him from a lot of people but this is a character that puts his own work in, does his thing, rarely complains and has made AY a memorable character. Bonnie would be here but she just won the title.
Hardcore Champion Of The Year
Bonnie Blue
Reason: Bonnie has really grown as a talent and a character and I feel as though this title win was a pivotal moment for both of those aspects. With this title Bonnie got more dangerous and showed us that 'queen of horror-kore' style thats shes been using.
2. Steven Singh
Reason: This is a good and bad use of Singh. He makes the Hardcore title look good and gives it star power when sometimes it can be forgotten and underwhelmed. He gave it a good look and good vibes.
Television Champion Of The Year
Samuel McPherson
Reason: Debonair and Kid Dynamo are gone and they would have been in the running but this is a belt that lets a talent stand out and I think this title win by McPherson allowed him to stand out as a break out talent that will achieve good things.
2. Kurt Navvaro
Reason: If didnt have to leave and cut the reign short, I think he would still be champion. However, like Singh, the use of the characterin this belt is not a great use of the character but it helps the championship out when it was being passed back and forth, only for nothing to come of it.
Tag Team Champions Of The Year
1. The Church
Reason: Its the building of Singh and the church and plays into the role of the Church into the story of Extreme and his overall quest for the year.
2. Bonnie / Sanchez
Reason: Good, solid tag team. hard to beat. gave the tag team scene some life. helped Bonnie on her way to a fantastic year.
Rookie Of The Year
Noble Savage
Reason: WAR. ONE. that gets you everything.
Sam McPherson
Reason: If Noble didnt go ham and cheese this year, I think this would be my #1 pick. If he stays around, hes a guy that can do good things in the future. Theres a lot of upside to him.
Match Of The Year
Ultimate Showdown
Reason: Dune, Singh, Bonnie, Extreme? The hype and the grandure of the match plus all possible outcomes? Yah. we doin that
* I dont have one without nominating a match that I was apart of. I also think WAR is a cop out.
PPV Of The Year
Ultimate Showdown
Reason: Ultimate Showdown was the standout PPV this year and the most important of the year based on quality, scheme and outcome
2. Till Death
Reason: The promo that helped WCF recover in 2018 after Seth and SJW left. It took what was a shaky year and said, you know what, things will work out fine
