Yeah the casting was overall sweet... Margot nailed it as HQ, and Leto's performance of the Clown Prince has me wanting more. Don't get me wrong Jack is still my fav live action, but as of now I think I'd put Leto on par with Ledger, and possibly better, future movies will tell...

I saw some clips of Lwto's version, and I though it was brilliant. And, same with Margo's HQ.. It appears they outshined Will Smith... Interesting!

I have a friend that is a big DC fan and he hated it. He also hated BvS. So he is smarting up.
I will see this tomorrow but only because I am interested to see the shit show.

I was more of a DC guy, but honestly, I was never into comic books, etc. I was strictly a baseball card collector. So, I am open to the antihero aspects of Suicide Squad.

I had friends and sports....haha OK, if this makes sense bro..lol I am a self-described 'ADHD ECLECTIC' man...basically, I have such diverse taste in anything from hobbies, to movies, to music, etc. But, yet..I do NOT focus on just ONE thing at a time for too long. I go from one thing, then get distracted, and move onto something else! lmfao Plus, I absolutely enjoy learning about other thoughts/beliefs that are different than mine...because I acquire more knowledge, and more self-awareness. And, I think that helps me be a more well-rounded, And open to ideas as a man. Makes sense? |

Suicide Squad was sick, I watched it Thursday night. HQ was well done, Margot nailed the character perfectly, but I didn't see DC messing her up, there's tooooo many fan girls and boys out there of her. Leto did joker well I thought, but my favorite character was Capt. Boomerang to be honest, he was brilliant. Plus I wouldn't say anyone outshined Will Smith, he played his role well, I think Rick Flag was well played too. Just great casting all around, my only complaint would be that I wasn't much of a Killer Croc fan... Maybe if he was bigger, I would've liked him more. But overall, great movie and it left me wanting to see what misadventure they'd go onto next.

Yea, I'm sorry...I grew up on the original GB 1 & 2...and, I can't see anyone in those roles, but the original guys. I think the new GB is just going to be another McCarthy & Wiig showcase of insanity. Now, Leslie Jones cracks me the hell up...I admit! lol I'll wait for that one On Demand or Red Box..Lol |

Smith wasn't boomerang... Smith was Deadshot. Sorry for the confusion in my post, I just was mentioning that I liked Boomerang the most in the movie. He was played by an Australian dude obviously, being capt boomerang and all.
