Picture this if you can, You are on a battlefield, There are bodies and body parts all around you. Bombs exploding and people falling left and right. You forge your way ahead, Taking out one enemy after another until you finally reach your ultimate destination. Out of harms way and standing supreme over your foes. That must be what it feels like to win the World Title, To work your way through the competition and to look back at the mayhem left in your wake! Only those who have been there can say for sure. Something that has thus far eluded him in his career. His mind was racing. He sat there in his room after just getting out of the shower and getting dressed. It had been a good work out today and he felt better than he had in years. The fire was burning inside of him again and there would be no putting it out. Now was the time to make his move, The time to make his mark on the wrestling world. It all begins here with his first major Pay Per View, One. A program rivaled only by Wrestlemania itself! The greatest show going today. He would be there and he would be more than ready.
He didn't even care who he would face after he crushed NvL and Purse, It didn't matter. From Adam Young all the way to Buzzsaw, They were all going down one after another. Nothing was going to stop him from coming out on top in the 'One' Invitational Tournament. He was more than ready to rise to the occasion! He had made a good decision by coming here and it was time to prove not only to himself but to everyone else that he was worth the investment.
He stood up and walked across the room to the dresser and picked up a sheet of paper, Catching his reflection in the mirror as he did so. He definitely had the tools to get the job done. He had the strength, The speed, And the Agility. He just needed to make sure that the execution was there and that it was flawless! It was up to him now and he liked it that way! He checked on his pet in the other room to make sure he was okay. Damien looked angry and hungry, He was clearly ready also!
Night Rider grabbed his phone and headed out the door. Angel Fyre had set up an interview at a local radio station and he had very little time to get there. He was always running late when it came to interviews like that because his workout came first and if she couldn't wait then it was too bad. He would get there when he got there.
He could tell that Angel Fyre was upset when he entered the studio. At least she smiled when she saw that he didn't bring damien.
Angel Fyre: It's about time that you decided to show up, Your only a half hour late!
Night Rider: Sorry, My workout went longer than expected. I was really getting into it! Then of course I had to wash the stink off of me!
Angel Fyre: Well were grateful for that! This is 'Scoop' Hernandez. he's a former High School and college athlete who had his career cut short, Now he just works at the station here.
Night Rider: Career cut short huh? Injury?
Angel Fyre: No, He sucked!
Scoop Hernandez: Hey, Just because the Cubs cut me in tryouts.
Angel Fyre: Hell, You couldn't catch. You couldn't hit, And you couldn't pitch. You sucked!
Night Rider: I take it you know each other or something?
Angel Fyre: No, All he's done since I've been here is talk about himself. Thank God you showed up!
Scoop Hernandez: Okay, Okay. Can we get started now?
Night Rider: Sure, Go ahead man. You have to overlook her sometimes.
Scoop: She definitely speaks her mind! Now, I will be recording this to be played on the show this evening. Here we go. This is Scoop Hernandez with KSCR Insider report. We are here with one of the newcomers to the WCF roster, None other than Night Rider, Along with his manager Angel Fyre. I want to welcome the two of you to our show. You seem to be making quite a splash since your debut.
Night Rider: It's a pleasure to be here. Now that I have had a few matches under my belt I feel good about my future in the WCF. With Angel Fyre guiding my I'm sure there are big things in store. She nay be a Bitch and She'll be the first to admit it but when it comes down to business the woman is as tough as they come.
Angel Fyre: I just learned a long time ago that I wasn't taking crap from anyone and I studied all I could to make sure I didn't have to rely on anyone to make it in this world!
Scoop: Night Rider, You are about to make your first appearance at 'One', The WCF's big pay per view. What are your thoughts with the event just around the corner.
Night Rider: I know that I stand a pretty good chance at coming out on top at 'One'! Even after my match with NvL and Purse, I've checked out the competition and believe that I can beat any and all of them! I'm not saying that I am the baddest SOB out there, That's Odin. That's why he has that belt around his waist. I'm just out there trying to make a living and do the best that I can do and if that means I have to get nasty or down and dirty I know how to do that! If a guy wants to wrestle me straight up I'll match him move for move! I'm the one out there each week doing what I have to do to keep moving forward!
Scoop: Did you happen to catch the comments that D-Day put out earlier? he appears to have a problem with you.
Night Rider: I really hope that I can face this guy in the Invitational Tournament, I would love to make him eat every word. He says I am focusing on the past and not the future. However, If he had really been paying attention it was my opponents who keep bringing up the past and I only respond. I'm not going to let anyone talk smack about me and not come back. I don't get played like that! My opponents and I have a history, That can't be denied. But the past is the past and my opponents are going to find out that the future is going to be a different story for them! The WCF is my home now and I am focused on that and my future here, I could care less anymore about that other fed! Even if it reopened it's doors today I wouldn't go back, Not now! As far as D-Day is concerned. If he has a problem with me he needs to stand up and let it be known! I'll knock him right back down right along with the rest of them. It's easy to talk trash when your not even sure you will be facing the person you are talking about isn't it D-Day? Hell, I bet you don't even win your opening match against Adrian! Oh but I sure hope you do because I really want a piece of you! Tell me D-Day, Do you like snakes? If we do face each other, After I hit you with the Drop of Death and pin you I may just lay Damien across your prone body and let him squeeze the life out of you! Donald Deruty hell, More like Donald Duck!
Scoop: Speaking of snakes, I see you didn't bring Damien with you?
Night Rider: Yeah, He's still getting ready for 'One'. He should be in a real nasty mood by then. It's a good thing I know how to handle him, he can get real mean! Some Donald Duck soup would do him some good!
Angel Fyre: A lot of people out there like running their mouths about how they have done this and how they have done that, Night Rider goes out there and talks about what he is Going to do! That is a part of what will set him apart from the rest. It's not a game to him, It's in his blood! It doesn't matter who his opponent is, There is no stopping him! The word quit isn't in his vocabulary!
Night Rider: One thing you can be sure of about me is this, I won't distort the facts like some people do to make themselves look good. Kind of like Jeff Purse talking about how he beat me before and yet he failed to mention anything about the @$$ kicking he took throughout the match! He seems to forget the blood that was shed and the extreme pain he went through. No, He didn't forget, More like he's pretending it didn't happen! 'One' Will be a reminder that he will never be able to forget! Make no mistake about it, 'The Future' is going down in a ball of flames!
Scoop: I'm going to say a few names and I want your opinion of each one. First. Odin Balfore?
Night Rider: You like to start at the top huh? What can I say about the guy, He's the World Champion and that speaks for itself! You have seen the guy in action, He's a monster in that ring!
Scoop: How would you fare in a match against him?
Night Rider: At this point the guy would probably beat me but I would sure let him know he had been in a fight. He's good, Real good!
Scoop: Corey Black?
Night Rider: I really can't say much about him except he has a lot of fight in him and doesn't back down from anyone. If anyone here is capable of dethroning Odin it may be him. However, I just don't see it happening at this point. Odin is just too damn tough right now.
Scoop: Kaylyn Evans?
Night Rider: MMmmmmm........ Sweet Chocolate Thunder! You know nothing about that, It was another place and another time. Lets say that she is one talented and dedicated woman! She can hang in that squared circle with the best of them. She is one of the ones here that I have a lot of respect for and if I can ever have the opportunity to work with her it would be a pleasure!
Angel Fyre: You just want to get her in the sack, That's all!
Night Rider: No, Your wrong there, That's not some woman you just get into the sack with. She has too much self respect for that, Despite what she is allowing to be done to her at this time. Oh she will have enough eventually and when she does she is going to snap. Look out when that happens! Everyone has their breaking point, That point of no return. 'One' is going to be very interesting!
Scoop: Last but not least, Nathan Von Leibert?
Night Rider: I don't know what to think about this guy, He has so much talent and yet he lets it go to waste because he doesn't know how to stay focused long enough to use it! He's a sick nut case who's stuck in a world of his own. The so called Devils right hand. My @$$! He is such a phony it isn't even funny! Get over it man Goth went out with the 90's! I can't wait until 'One' gets here! It is going to be such a pleasure beating the $h!t out of NvL and Jeff Purse and anyone else who gets in my way! I'm coming on like a Steamroller going downhill! There will be no stopping me! Just like those bodies on the battlefield is how I will leave my opponents, Nothing but a shell of what they used to be!
