Scene-Lexington,Kentucky
Adam, Hunter and Gator are looking around one of the older venues for professional wrestling still active on a weekly basis.
Adam-When I’d get tired and want to stop, I’d wonder what my next opponent was doing. I’d wonder if he was still working out. I tried to visualize him. When I could see him still working, I’d start pushing myself. When I could see him in the shower, I’d push myself harder. Wrestling has positively impacted my life in many ways, but perhaps the one singular thing that I gained from wrestling that stands out the most is wrestling provided me with the opportunity to learn mental toughness.
Gator-Once you've wrestled, everything else in life is easy.
Adam-Professional wrestling is in my blood. I may have second guessed it in the past, but I know it now.
Hunter-Wrestling is ballet with violence.
Gator-More enduringly than any other sport, wrestling teaches self-control and pride. Some have wrestled without great skill - none have wrestled without pride.
Adam-Just when you think you know the answers, I change the questions. Some guys can do more talking in the ring, other guys do posing, body building, whatever the hell they do in the ring. But I don't have the big body, and I'm not the big smooth talker, but I can get in the ring and wrestle.
Hunter-You know the fate of another man in my hands felt good. Feeling his blood flowing threw my hands and watching it drip onto to the mat was soothing. I'm begining to see why you two do this.
Adam-This week you get to see and feel how both sides of the coin feel. Johnny and Doc are calculating monsters with no reguard for anything or anyone, my kind of fellas. Don't forget they are sons of the confederacy. I do beleave that Lerch is trying to punish both teams by haveing us destroy each other why he pulls the strings. Sunday night Reading gets invaded by the New Confederacy and the FTW. Uptight southerners versus a band of wild rednecks, I see blood on the herizon.
Hunter-So it shall be written and so it shall be done.
