A view of a dark street with a numerous amount of street lights. It night sky is slightly brightened by a number of small stars. Buildings that are mostly only one to two stories stand on the ground to create the street. Nothing can be heard, complete and peaceful silence is all that occurs. The sight of a man walking down the opposite street is a very odd sight to see at this time of the night. The camera pursues the man walking down the street at this hour. The man walks through the street light beams to show that he is dressed very formally. Also a thing that could be barley seen is the darkness of his black hair. The man turns and opens a building door and walks in slowly. The camera moves into the building to show a local bar with many pool tables and other bar items. The man walking down the street walked straight up to the oak bar and sat on the red bar stool. The bar is completely empty besides the man that just walked in and the bar tender behind the bar. The two men start to speak to each other.
Bartender: Donald! Long time no see, hows it going my man?
Donald Deruty: Just fine Bob, how is the wife and the kids?
Bartender Bob: Well, you know living life and trying to make the most of what we get. So how have you been since the last time we met? It has been quite a while since the last time we met eye to eye.
Donald Deruty: Well, not much has happened I have been doing good with the job and everything...so I am pretty happy with my actions.
Bartender Bob: What about the wife hunt? Starting a family? All that good stuff?
Donald Deruty: Well, with my job causing me to move around quite a bit I haven't been able to do much of that. So you know I am just doing what I do best.
Bartender Bob: Indeed, you know me one of the biggest WCF fans. I have been watching you do everything since you started, and still you are one of my favorite customers. I even ordered War to see how you will do. Well anything to drink, its on the house.
Donald Deruty: Not much, how about just a Samuel Adams.
Bartender Bob: Sammy A. coming right up!
Bob moves towards the fridge by the different options of alcoholic beverages on wooden shelves that completely covers the wall behind the bartender. He grabs a Samuel Adams beer out of the fridge and walks back over to D-Day, opens the bottle and hands it to Donald.
Donald Deruty: Thank you very much.
Bartender Bob: Anytime man, anytime at all. I like the company. So what do you think will happen in War tomorrow?
Donald Deruty: Bob, all I can say is that if I knew what would happen than I would bet all of my lifes savings on it and double my money. No really in all honesty is that I have no idea what is going to happen in that ring tomorrow. The whole thought for everybody is that you must go past your limit when you enter than ring during this event. After this match ends everything, rivalries, and what happens just seem to stay in that ring until next year.
Bartender Bob: So its like Vegas?
Donald Deruty: Sort of yes. Well I better get going.
Bartender Bob: Ok man I will see you later.
Donald picks up the Samuel Adams before he leaves the bar, the bartender notices and stops him before he is able to leave the bar.
Bartender Bob: Hey, are you really going to take that beer with you?
Donald Deruty: Trust me Bob, I am not going to be the one driving the car.
Bob just laughs as Donald continues to exit the bar. The camera follows D-Day down the street again, only this time Donald is known of the camera's presence as he looks back at the camera and speaks to the camera as he is walking down the dark and ere street.
Donald Deruty: War, is the biggest match that anyone could ever ask for. It is the biggest event of the WCF period I mean there is no match that could even come close to the epicness and suspense of the War matches. Nothing that has happened in the past couple of years could match a match of such hugeness that every superstar in the WCF will be in that ring at least once in the night. War, is such a big event that no body could predict even the half of what the outcome could be or even should be. Men in the WCF has called this match many things in their long and successful careers. Some have called it the most anticipated and exhilarating thing that they have and will ever be a part of. Others have called it the most torturous and devastating match that they have ever been in. So many men has entered that four sided circle of the WCF, but only nine has come out on top. It is time to enter double digits, it is time to crown another champion of the War. Nothing matters anymore, nothing matters what happened before the match. When you enter that ring and you can hear the crowd, cheer your name or even boo your name to where you can hear it from the ring to the locker rooms. That is living, the thought of being adored by millions of people. Some at the age of where they can barely talk or even walk. Others to where they can barely walk anymore, where they have to use a crutch or a walker to get around. So many people wait for this match, year after year they wait. They wait to see who the next person to have their name written down in the history books will be.
The one thing that is just heart breaking for everyone else, is that the winner of last years War, is indeed in this match as well. He was the last one to be in that ring before the group of This Is War, was reveled. The runner up of that match was also a Hall of Famer, a man that was very talented in what he did as a professional wrestler. This man was a friend of mine and that very man was Allen Guiliano. The man that owned the successful casino that I visited just a few days ago. It was his very last match here in the WCF, but he couldn't pull it out. Logan, himself took it into his own hands and showed that he deserved to win that match. Although I was one of the men that was eliminated the quickest during last years War, that will not be held against me anymore. No body thought I would win the World Championship, I indeed proved everyone of the non believers wrong. No body thought I would be able to beat Torture, I proved everybody wrong. You see I have lived a life of people not believing in me. One that dark day when I received the letter about my father and his two brothers passing...everyone seemed sorry for me. Everyone said that they were sorry for our loss and that the hoped that I would still grow up and live a successful life. Although, those people said it I could tell that those words coming from their mouths were all lies. You see those same people had children of their own in my grades and classes. I would go over or hang out with their sons or daughters, and I could tell on their face that I would become a person that they don't even want around there kids let alone themselves. They thought that I would result into nothing, well I proved them wrong from the day I turned 18. I moved on from my life, my mother was having problems supporting us both with her job and mine only. I took it into my own consideration that I should leave and allow her to keep the house and be able to live a well life. I sensed the relief in people's breath when they heard that I was gone, all I could think about was that I was going to results to nothing anyways. I showed them that I am something, and I am something to be proud of.
All my life I have been proving that I am something, I am not just another low life that grew up in a terrible neighborhood. So many people took me as that kind of person, a man that grew up up a trash of a neighborhood and all I would be is trash. I took all of those words and thoughts and used them as a way to keep myself going, a motivation as you may say. This is just another time for me to prove myself to everyone, people may think that I have done everything that I have to do to make everyone think that I am not a failure. Sure I have done a lot, but I will not stop at no limit, there is nothing that I will not achieve to prove everyone wrong. I have been the underdog for almost 3 whole years, and it is time for me to become not only the legend, but the man that will set an example to everyone else who grew up in a terrible. I am going to win War, to show so many people that it doesn't matter where you grow up at, you can still be as successful as the next guy.
Donald moves his hand through his black hair before he continues to talk.
Donald Deruty: Even the people that will be in the match tomorrow night think I have nothing, not even a slight chance of winning this match tonight. This match isn't just a match for the WCF World Championship to me, it is another opportunity to prove a bunch of people that they think that they know what they are talking about wrong. This War is taking to heart for sure, I mean I would like to do nothing more than to come into this match and just dominate everyone that walks into that in ring and tear them limb from limb. This match is such a big deal for so many people that everyone is aiming high in this match, so many is thinking that they will come into this match and kick everyone's ass. So many people from the new guys like Aaron Miles, all the way to the veterans like Brad Kane and Logan.
Donald places his hands in his sports jacket pockets before continuing.
Donald Deruty: I have stated so many times before that this year is my year, and look at what I have done since that week after One last year, I have defeated the undefeated Torture, I have successfully capture the most precious item you could ever have in the WCF, the WCF World Championship. I have captured many other championships so many that there is only one more left for me to achieve here in the WCF. In this time of my career I have only a few other things that is left for me to add to my resume. One of those things are win a War match, and the ultimate achievement that could ever happen is be elected into the WCF Hall of Fame. One of those things are so close to being in my grip that I will not allow it to slip throw my grip another time. I have been in two WCF Wars and I know that the year of the War X will be my year to finally show that I will be able to reach the heights that other WCF legends has reached before me. I will prove everyone wrong tomorrow. I will win War, and once again in my life I will prove everyone wrong.
The scene ends as Donald signals for a taxi and gets in the yellow vehicle and heads down the road to the location of War X.
Bartender: Donald! Long time no see, hows it going my man?
Donald Deruty: Just fine Bob, how is the wife and the kids?
