The scene opens to the sight of Roy Speede walking around backstage at a WCF show. He turns a corner, and then stops and knocks on a door.
”Come in!”
Roy opens the door and on the other side sits Hank Brown in his trademark suit with his feet up on the edge of his desk, a grin on his face.
”Mister Speede! Didn’t expect to see you coming to ask me for an interview on a day like today! By all means, have a seat, have a seat!”
”Hank, not to sound like a jerk, but this is the most unprofessional setting possible for an interview. If you’re going to b interviewing a top superstar, do it right, genius.”
”Alright alright just follow me.”
With that Hank takes his feet off of the desk, and Roy follows as he leads him down a series of winding, twisting hallways. As they finally come to a stop on the set of what has become known as the WCF Interview Room, Hank steps to his usual spot.
”I’m ready when you are, Roy-o.”
”Alright, let’s do this thing, just don’t call me that again or I will give you a reason to walk like you just got kicked in the nuts.”
Roy takes his spot on the set next to Hank, and the cameraman points in their direction.
”Good afternoon WCF, I’m Hank Brown, and I’m standing by with one half of the Tag Team Champions, Roy Speede. Now Roy, tonight you’re teaming up with your Champion partner Mr. FPV to face Michael Chevalier and Russell Morris. What are your thoughts on the match the WCF staff scheduled for tonight?”
”Well, Hank, to be completely honest, I think this match could even end up making me look bad. I mean, on one end, you’ve got a drunken redneck and a Phillip Baines wannabe having sex with his girlfriend all the time, and on the other... you’ve got the Tag team Champions. This match is completely one-sided if you ask me, Hank, and I think WCF staff made a huge mistake booking this thing. Realistically speaking, I think Clyde, Ryan Blake’s flea-ridden mutt, and Gil, Odin Balfore’s horny pet raccoon with a strip club, would be a more formidable team than these two. Why WCF management has us facing these two is a complete mystery to me.”
”Okay, moving on, at the Revenge Pay-Per-View, you’ve got a match scheduled against Kaylyn James Evans that was sparked after a war of words on Twitter. Mr. FPV called you out on that and set making this match was a mistake, and that your getting yourself distracted rather than focusing on retaining those tag team championships. What do you think?”
”Hank, Franky made himself sound like a total moron with those comments. Even WCF Management isn’t stupid enough to double book me again after what happened last time, so if I’m facing Kaylyn James Evans, that means he can hold on to those tag belts without worrying about defending them for at least another week. And if WCF Management does decide to double-book me, I don’t care! I’ll still pull off the win, and then I’ll come back down the ramp again later in that very same night and I’ll still beat Kaylyn. It’s not that I don’t want to team with Franky, it’s that I’ve got more important fish to fry. And what Kaylyn has done to Aubrey for the past months has gone too far on multiple occasions, and now I’m going to make sure she puts that to a stop. And what more, you ask? If she wins the TV Title off of Ryan Blake, I bet WCF Management will be making that match for the TV Title, and hence I’ll become a double champion once again. It doesn’t bother me a bit. All I know is that I’m going to defeat Kaylyn James Evans, and there’s nothing she can do about that.”
”One last question, Roy. There was a rumor going around that you were planning to hang up your boots. Any truth to this?”
”Shut up, Hank. I’m not gonna be retiring from professional wrestling any time soon; I won’t hesitate to find someplace worth my time if management doesn’t repair the holes in this sinking ship called the WCF, but as far as my career as a whole is concerned, I am and will be a wrestler for a very long time, Hank.”
Roy hands Hank his microphone and exits from the shot of the interview stage.
”Later, Hank. This interview is over!”
The scene fades to black as Roy walks off down the hall.
