I had the week off of Slam so I could go do some promotional work in San Diego for Comic Con. Normally I would want to wrestle but a chance to go hang out, meet some famous people and hang out on the beach was something I didn't want to pass up. Plus they were making some new WCF toys and I was there to help promote them for the company. I loved being in WCF so any chance to help out the company I would gladly take. I knew I wasn't bigger then the show like some people thought they were. Plus being out of town saved me from having to deal with Kaylyn for a few days. It was a crazy, busy weekend and when my plane landed in Philadelphia it was kind of a relief to be away from the crowds and the insanity of San Diego. I stepped off the plane wearing a pair of white shorts and a pink girlie shirt with my white D&G sunglasses on and my matching white leather purse. I had been recognized by a few people on the plane but I didn't mind people stopping and asking for autographs, it was part of the life I had signed up for.
After heading through the terminal I came out next to baggage claim and there stood my boyfriend, Roy Speede. He had on a black t-shirt and a pair of faded jeans. As soon as I saw him a smile spread across my face. I had missed him while I was away especially since he was busy fighting on Slam in a big main event. I ran towards him and jumped the last few feet straight into his arms. He caught me and I put my arms around his neck before giving him a long, drawn out kiss. His hands were on my butt holding me in the air with my legs wrapped around him. It was probably a bit awkward for the people around us but I just was really happy to see him and I hoped he felt the same. Finally I jumped down on the ground, looking around a bit embarassed as Roy nodded his head with a grin.
ROY SPEEDE: How was your flight, babe?
AUBREY SUMMERS: It was pretty fantastic. Watched some bad movies, ate some bad food and relaxed. Thankfully WCF got me first class too so I got to stretch out and sleep a bit on the plane.
ROY SPEEDE: Nice! And how was San Diego? I'm so jealous you got to go down there. I guess they wanted the hottest girl on the roster there to hype up the company though. I'm sure if I had never watched WCF I would after seeing you.
I blushed a bit with a giggle and smiled at him. I fixed my hair a bit before pulling off my sunglasses and looking around for the right baggage claim.
AUBREY SUMMERS: The trip was amazing. I got to hang out with some famous people, buy some cool stuff and go to the beach.
ROY SPEEDE: Which famous people did you meet?
AUBREY SUMMERS: The cast of True Blood, Nathan Fillon, Pee Wee Herman, Robert Rodreguiz... I went to a few parties too. Don't worry though I told everyone I had a boyfriend so they would stop hitting on me right away. Enough about my weekend though. How are you doing after Slam? I mean Oblivion and Doc Henry ganged up on you out of nowhere. I was worried.
ROY SPEEDE: I'll be fine. I've taken worse and gotten back up before.
AUBREY SUMMERS: I just wish I was there so I could of backed you up is all.
ROY SPEEDE: Don't worry about it, Aubrey. Plus I got this week off so I can be well rested for whatever they throw at me next. I'll get my payback on Henry and Oblivion in due time.
AUBREY SUMMERS: If you need a partner you can trust to face them then you know I'm always willing to help you out.
ROY SPEEDE: Thanks... I'll keep that in mind. Speaking of tag matches did you see yours this week?
I had no idea I was even booked yet. I had been flying and so busy I didn't check the new card. I shrugged at Roy with a bit of a frown.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Nah... I didn't have time to look.
ROY SPEEDE: Well you are in a huge six-man... Or five-man and one-girl tag match with Mr. FPV and Russell Morris on your side.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Who are we against?
ROY SPEEDE: Odin Balfore for one.
AUBREY SUMMERS: The World Champion? Wow... If I pin him it would be huge. Heck, if our team just won against his it would be a huge deal. Who else is with him?
ROY SPEEDE: Doc Henry is and so is Michael Santiago.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Are you kidding me?! Two of my four matches so far have been against him. Is he like requesting matches with me or something like that? I've proven time and time again that I can beat Michael Santiago and I don't need another chance to do it.
ROY SPEEDE: I wouldn't worry too much about it. I mean with Doc Henry and Odin Balfore in there you won't need to worry about Santi very much. You'll have bigger fish to fry.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Well Doc and Odin shouldn't really be on the same side right now so that might help too. Doc did help Oblivion attack Odin on Slam so I'm guessing there will be a bit of drama.
ROY SPEEDE: No doubt.
AUBREY SUMMERS: But you got the week off?
ROY SPEEDE: I do.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Then you can help me train for this one. You've faced this guys way more then I have and I'm sure you could show me a few tricks and holds.
ROY SPEEDE: Or I could just hold you.
He grinned and I laughed at his cheesy joke. I then took his hand to head over to the baggage claim where the bags from my flight were already being let out.
ROY SPEEDE: I'd be honored to help train you. I don't know if I could help you too much though. You already seem pretty perfect from here.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Thank you but I could always use help in the ring especially from someone as successful as you. Plus you've had more experienced against these opponents... That's it the pink one!
Roy jumped forward and grabbed my giant pink suitcase.
ROY SPEEDE: You've beaten Santiago and Doc before.
AUBREY SUMMERS: That's true but I've never faced Odin... It is weird saying that. I feel like I'm the bad guy in Thor when I say I'm going to go fight Odin. I've seen what Doc and Santiago can do though but Odin is the World Champion, that makes him the best in the world right now so I'm not going to take this lightly and with him on their team he might be able to bring the whole group together... Or he'll just want to punch Doc in the face and it'll cost them to the match. Either way it will be unpredictable and insane.
ROY SPEEDE: I'm not arguing with that... What the hell is in this thing?
He looked down at my suitcase and I just shrugged. It was full of all kinds of stuff though including some presents for him so I didn't want to give too much away.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Just shoes and stuff... I had a lot of time for shopping down there. Plus I remembered what things you wanted from Comic Con so you might have some presents in there. Oh yeah... I got a new pink bikini too that I thought we could try out in our hotel tonight.
ROY SPEEDE: The room I got you does have a private hot tub.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Really? That sounds amazing. I can't wait to model that bikini for you tonight then.
I winked at Roy as we turned and headed to the parking garage. It was nice having someone waiting for me when I came from out of town. It was those little comforts that made living away from Florida less difficult. Plus Roy seemed like he would do anything for me. He was devoted and maybe even loved me like no guy ever had before. It was strange but being with Roy just made me smile.
AUBREY SUMMERS: So what do you think of my team for this Slam match? I mean Mr. FPV is the Tag Team Champion with you so I would assume that means I should be able to trust him somewhat.
ROY SPEEDE: I wouldn't worry about him. He is a good guy and he always goes out there to win and nothing else. Plus like you said he is my partner and he knows you are my girl so he'll be right there ready to tag in and out when you need it.
AUBREY SUMMERS: I'm glad he is on my side. I would honestly prefer if you were on my team though. It would be so much fun to get to team with you sometime... Hopefully against Kaylyn.
ROY SPEEDE: At least she left you alone while you were in California. Corey probably liked having you down there to bring press to the company so he wasn't going to let her scare you away.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Maybe... She sent me some weird e-mails and texts though. I am just going to have to ask her what I can do to make her obsession with me go away soon. I can't take much more and it keeps distracting me from my matches. Hell, I was going to ask you about this other parnter of mine but then Kaylyn came up and distracted me yet again. So what do you think of this Russel Morris?
ROY SPEEDE: I don't know much about him. He is pretty new but he doesn't really seem like the kind of guy who would make a great parnter. He seems a bit into himself... I don't know much though like I said.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Yeah, I guess I'll give him a chance. He seems a bit weird like you said though but maybe he isn't so bad after all. I mean he has to want to win and since I have nothing against him and I doubt FPV does either we should all get along. The other team is the one who will have some drama.
PEDRO: Excuse me...
Roy and Aubrey both stopped and behind them was a little kid holding a napkin in his hand. He was wearing a Jay Price beanie and had on a WCF Slam t-shirt. Aubrey smiled as Roy leaned down to talk to him.
ROY SPEEDE: What's up, buddy?
PEDRO: Can I get your autographs?
ROY SPEEDE: Sure thing.
Roy took the napkin and signed it but while he was doing that I unzipped my suitcase and pulled out an 8x10 I was signing at Comic Con. I signed it quickly as Roy looked at the kid. I smiled a bit to myself seeing him be so nice to the kid too made me wonder if he wanted kids one day... But then I realized that was getting way ahead of myself.
ROY SPEEDE: What is your name?
PEDRO: Pedro.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Well here you go Pedro...
I handed Pedro the glossy picture and Roy shook his head as he handed him the napkin.
PEDRO: Thank you both!
ROY SPEEDE: I'm going to have to keep photos around too like that so you don't one up me...
AUBREY SUMMERS: Sorry! If we teamed together maybe I would of had some with both of us together but mine are all from photoshoots and in ring stuff.... Thanks Pedro!
Pedro smiled bashfully and headed off. Roy took my bag again and headed down the hallway towards his car. I was happy to be back with him and eager to prepare for my match. A week off was nice but I knew I couldn't get too comfortable. This match was going to be wild and anything could happen. After the end of the last Slam that was clear for sure and we knew that anyone could turn on anyone at anytime. I glanced over at Roy wondering if he would turn on me sometime for a chance at the gold? It didn't seem likely but you never know. We got into Roy's truck and headed back to the hotel. I told him stories of my trip and he told me a bit about my opponents.
Once we got to the hotel I headed up to my room and Roy went to his. It was weird for me how slow Roy was taking things in our relationship. He acted like he was all about me but we still had seperate hotel rooms and we still hadn't gone much past kissing and a bit of fondling. Foreplay was fun and all but I wondered if I had to make the next move on my own. Normally I waited but Roy obviously wasn't going to do it. I would worry about that later though. One of the Slam producers somehow heard I had a hot tub in my room and wanted me to do a promo in it. It sounded a bit ridiculious to me. I mean I kind of wanted to avoid the sexy blonde stereotype but I also wasn't good at saying no so I figured I would give it a shot. The camera crew was already in the room setting up as I put on a leopard print bikini in the bathroom. I grabbed my phone and texted Roy that I had to work and I'd be late for dinner probably before stepping int othe room. There were about five guys in there and their mouths all dropped when they saw me. I blushed with a giggle as I headed across the room and out to the balcony where the hot tub was. I stepped up into it and sat on the ledge, my feet dangling in the hot water as the camera guys all talked amongst themselves. Finally they did the count down and it was on, promo time... The time I felt least comfortable since I wasn't good at talking trash.
AUBREY SUMMERS: This week on Slam I'm in the middle of an interesting match. There are going to be six people battling it in a six-person tag team match. I would say six-man but I'm the one girl in it. Thankfully I think I've proven time and time again here in WCF that I can go with the best of them. I've only lost one match so far and that was to Jay Price... I would say the F word in the middle but that really isn't my style. As I was saying though this match is going to be wild, crazy and I'll be right in the middle of it. I'm sure all these guys with big egos have certain goals and plans for how to win it too. Heck, they may even come and whisper in my ear to join them or turn on someone or something. None of that will work though. I am going out there to do what I always try to do in that ring and that is win. I'm going to ignore whatever drama the boys will get themselves into and focus on the match. I know it won't be easy because after the tag team match on the last Slam we learned you can't really trust your partners but then again you can't be looking over your shoulder all night when there is a match in front of you.
Let me talk about my partners though. First is Mr. FPV who just so happens to be my boyfriend's tag team partner. If I can't trust him a bit then who can I trust, right? He is a champion and he is an expert in matches like this. I can honestly say I'm not a tag team expert by any means. I like to go out there and fight instead of sitting on the in the corner and waiting. That is just me though. I like the action but if I am going to have to trust someone then am glad it will be Mr. FPV. Then there is our other partner Russel Morris who seems to be really worried with finding a new agent and getting representation or something. That worries me. I hope Morris can get his head into the game and out of his business affairs. Having an agent doesn't really matter if you end up getting pinned because you lose value the more you get beat up. I'm not trying to be harsh Russel but just honest. You are going into the ring with some tough cookies and if you don't keep your eye on the prize it costs you. I let myself get distracted once and I lost to Jay Price and missed out on a chance to be World Champion. This is a huge match for everyone on our team and an agent won't help us win.
I kicked the water a bit as I shrugged. It was true what I was saying and I didn't want my partner to cost us a match because his mind was elsewhere. It was a dangerous thing to do when the people you are fighting include Doc Henry and the World Champion.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Enough about my team though. What about the opponents? Like Odin Balfore, the World Champion. I am honored to be in the ring with him too. He is the best in the world as long as he has that belt. I know a lot of people won't agree with it because they think they are better but until they take that belt off him he is the top guy. Do I think I can beat him? I think I might be able to and I'm eager to try. Everyone knows if you can get a win over the World Champion it makes people notice. It gets people's attentions and that is exactly what I want to do. If I can pin Odin then my name will be on the mind's of people who book the main events which is where I want to be. Fighting Odin is all about opportunity in my mind. Beating him will open up doors that I want to go through. He is big though and impressive. I'm much smaller and in a punching contest I would probably lose. I am fast though, I'm smart and I know how to use what I've been given to win. World Champion or rookie I am ready for a big match and if I can pin Odin I'll be up there with the rest of the big names for a chance at the gold.
Of course there is another big name in this match and that is Doc Henry. Doc, you kind of pissed me off on Slam. You beat up Roy with the help of Oblivion and you made a big show out of his expense. I know I don't need to defend him but it turns out that I get some payback for him this week. You talk about the South and think you are some gift to this company but you aren't so tough. I've beaten you before Doc and I'll beat you again on Slam. You are a bully and you like to gang up on people to get ahead. Bring Oblivion down to the ring with you too if you think it'll help but I promise you it won't. I'm ready for whatever kind of crap you pull. You probably think I'm some dumb blonde but I can see right through your game. Plus you better also be worrying about your partner, Odin, who won't be too happy with what happened on Slam either. The way I see it Doc, you put a big target on your ass and come Slam you're gonna get some payback be it from me or from Odin or maybe someone else you haven't thought about. This isn't about North versus South anymore... This is about Aubrey's boot versus your ass and I can tell you that if you try to cheat my boot is willing to go South if the referee isn't looking. If that happens then I promise the South won't be rising again if you get my drift.
Yeah, I made a penis joke... It sounded fun in my mind when I was practicing though and I really was willing to kick him in the nuts if tried to cheat or pull some crap on me. I wanted to win and if he was going to play dirty then I might have to get a bit dirty to show him how it feels for a change.
AUBREY SUMMERS: Then last but most certainly least is Michael Santiago... You lost to me, you got mad about it and then you lost to me again. I've got your number, Santiago and the third time most certainly won't be a charm. If you tie up with me in the ring then you will loss. There is no question about it in my mind. So be nice to your team and when I tag in, you tag out. Aubrey in, Santiago out. It is as simple as that because honestly you don't want a third loss to me, do you? Actually on second thought you can stay in the match... It'll make it easier for my team to leave Slam with the victory. I'll see you on Monday, Santiago.
I winked at the camera playfully. I was honestly tired of facing him and from where I stood I had proven beyond a doubt that I was superior to him inside the ring and I much rather face Odin or Doc then him again.
AUBREY SUMMERS: So boys bring your best and I promise I'll bring mine. This is a huge match and I will admit it all seems random and thrown together but really some of the best matches are. Only one team can win though and the way I see it we are more of a unit then you guys and we will be more ready. Doc, Odin and Santiago... When Slam comes get ready to get beat by a girl.
I smiled again before jumping and sliding into the hot tub with a bit of a splash. I rose up out of the water a second later and flipped my hair back before smiling into the camera again. The producer gave me a thumbs up and from there the crew started to pack up their gear. I adjusted my bikini top and leaned my head back in the hot tub. It was relaxing but I knew I couldn't sit there too long. It was almost time for dinner with Roy and then maybe we could come back to the tub for a bit of kissing and if he was gonna make his move a bit more. A nice night with Roy would be perfect before Slam though because once I got in that ring I had to be ready for war and a bit of peace first made the war a whole lot easier.
