The scene opens up in the arena as the fans start filing into the front doors. The camera cuts to the back where Hank Brown stands with Gravedigger and his brother Chester.
Hank Brown: Gravedigger, tonight is XIII, a PPV that you are familiar with but you haven't always had the best luck. Everyone remembers the time you faced Torture a couple of years ago and were defeated in a casket match.
Gravedigger: Honestly I will never forget that match because it is a reminder that I've never beat the guy. If tonight's match with Club Cool is my last, that is the one person I've never really beaten in my career. Well, the one person that I've always wanted to defeat.
I beat Price at One. I've beaten Creeping Death. I've beaten Slickie T. I've beaten Chad Evans. I've beaten every major superstar the WCF has thrown at me over the past couple of years, hell, my entire career. It honestly pisses me off that possibly my last match in my career could be against Alex Haden and Roy Speede.
Hank Brown: Well with your match quickly approaching, how do you feel about your chances against them?
Gravedigger: I don't feel threatened at all. Before I talk about it, I just want to say one thing: Roy Speede, shut the hell up and let your damn tag team partner actually talk. All we've heard all week is you blabbing on and on and on while your partner barely gets a word in.
I thought I was one of the worst people in WCF history for loving to hear himself talk all the time, but you sir, take the freakin cake. I'm going to tell you to shut up once more because all I heard from you earlier was how much respect you have for me and all this other ass kissing bullshit that I could care less to hear.
Don't think for even one second that I will ease up on you and as you told me to do, I will be bringing my A game. If you think you've been taught something this week by listening to what Brad Kane and myself have to say about the match, just wait....JUST WAIT until we step into the ring. If you really want to learn something, be sure to take notes.
I want you to be that kid with a pen, a pad and a big imagination (wink). I want you to pay attention. Watch as I lift you or Alex onto my shoulders. Watch as I grip tightly on your head and legs at the same time. Watch as I pull downwards as hard as I can and stretch you to your limits. Feel the tendons snapping. Feel your muscles being torn from within. Listen to the sounds of your own ligaments being stretched farther than humanly possible.
Then just close your eyes and feel the scream of terror escaping from deep within your soul as you cry out in pain. That's what it will be like tonight.
Hank Brown: Wow, that's pretty graphic. So why is Chester here with you tonight?
Gravedigger: I'll go ahead and let everyone know something. Chester will be down at ringside with me. He will be interfering when the referee isn't looking. Just figured I'd let you know at the last minute that you two won't just be facing Brad Kane and myself. You're going to be fending off the efforts of my brother Chester.
Don't think for a second about calling me out on being honorable or some form of what you would refer to as a man. Don't even bother trying to badmouth me before, during or even after the match for involving outside interference because I just don't care. I don't go into a match with the purpose of being honorable and following the rules.
I go in to win. I will take whatever route necessary to win. I will do whatever it takes to make you tap out. Now, Hank, it's been a pleasure. Especially if this is the last time you interview me. If you'll excuse us, we have to be heading over to production to finalize a few things. Take it easy.
