Yeah, when I said maybe, I meant it depends on who and how you use them. Obviously, real wrestlers is awful. Bands is another story, as well as "fantastical RPs" where it's just ridiculous and for fun, not for a match. So, use that as a base.

LOL, kidding, but in all seriousness, I don't have a problem with using real people- Hell, I even mentioned in my debut that Roy took a trip to Canada at age 16 to train with Christian, Edge, and Bret Hart.... It may have cost me the match, but I did so.

I'd say to avoid using real wrestlers if you can, but using real people (except dead dictators and terrorists) should be alright.
