WCFWrestling.com is reporting that Skyler Striker has been released by the company! This is HUGE news as Striker was rumored to have big plans heading forth into the Spring shows having a storyline with Brad Kane and the World Championship. Striker has been released from WCF on great terms and should be welcomed back if he ever chooses to do so.
Creeping Death and WCFWrestling have yet to come to terms on an "On Air" personality contract and are still negotiating terms on where and what Creeping Death could do to fit in on WCF programming. Creeping Death is STILL a major part of management in WCF and will continue to do so until a contract extension is reached. I wouldn't put any eggs in a Creeping Death Returns basket anytime soon.
The Hell in a Cell is still playing a major role in creative meetings. An official close to the writers told me that WCF is looking to use it before April or May. Seth Lerch and WCF has been very protected of it's Hell in a Cell and rarely uses such a gimmick. My sources indicate this match will happen before the XIII PPV hosted by Creeping Death and WCF.
Jason Kash has been very pleased with management and has been seen as a "great guy" with the talent in the back. For what seemed to be a rocky relationship at first has now turned into a pretty professional and healthy relationship for Kash and WCF. When WCFWrestling.com blog writer Jared Garner asked him what his future plans were, Kash simply stated "To beat This is War and then get HARDCORE!".
Shaun Jackson is still in the doghouse following his recent run in with the law after his D.U.I charge early this month. As we all saw on Monday Night Slam, Jackson was defeated by Kash in under one minute, and plans haven't changed. I'd look for Jackson to play a minor role in this week's big Elimination Match, and probably for a few more weeks to come.
Maya Gomez has been released from WCF as well. No word on why, or if she'll ever make a return. More on this as we get it.
