As evidenced by his first promo, it is my intent to have Shulmanu engage in all kinds of unlawful and antisocial behavior in his spots, the likes of which would land a person in prison. The thing about his spots is that, no matter what he does to the outside world, he seems to be able to act free from consequence, and fallout from his antics never makes the news or anything like that. He will explain this away as "forces in reality working to thwart him by covering up his deeds."
The truth of the matter is that, while Shulmanu is meant to be a very fearsome hardcore wrestler, he is most certainly not an actual demon. He's a performance artist portraying a character... He just happens to play that character any time he is in public, meaning that when wrestlers interact with him backstage, they get the same character that is seen on camera. His spots are loaded with special effects, actors, and camera tricks that tell the story that he is attempting to convey. It's all a big work. When "performing," he will deny this up to the very end.
What I would appreciate is if, when interacting with him, some of the "kayfabe" aspect of his gimmick is respected. You can feel free to call the legitimacy of his acts into question, but please do not ever try to produce the actors that he uses in his spots to come back onto camera and be like "yup... this is all a fake." He's sort of a throwback to the oldschool days of wrestling. He's a serious competitor, but he's also very big on putting on a show, and I think his story will be a lot more fun and entertaining if there was some mystery left behind how he gets away with the things he does.
Just wanted to let you all know that I don't expect Shulmanu to actually kill anyone and cast their souls into the Abyss any time soon .
Thanks!
