Gimmick: Avery is just an African-American who grew up in Chicago. Wasn't poor, wasn't rich, but went to school and later befriended Torture. Avery is 21 years old, and is ready to wrestle full time now. Avery followed in the footsteps of Torture until he realized that Tort bent the rules, and cut corners to get what he wanted. Avery vowed to never cheat the system, and in doing so he would show the truth behind everything and everyone he ever came in contact with.
Height/weight: 6'3 - 225 pounds.
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Alignment (Face/heel/neutral): Uber-Face
Appearance/attire: Avery wrestles in Yellow wrestling boots. Black wrestling pants with the words "AVERY" and "TRUTH" down both sides of the leg. No shirt. Chris has very short hair. A buzz cut, if you will.
Entrance and music: Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf.
- The lights go out and Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf blares through the sound system. The crowd goes crazy as Avery walks out on stage from behind the curtain. Avery flips back his hood on his black sweatshirt and smiles at the crowd. They cheer louder. Avery slaps five with some fans and slides in to the ring.
Style (Technical, hardcore, brawler, powerhouse, etc.):
Technical - Brawler - Hardcore - High Flyer - 80's Style Wrestling..
Favorite Moves (At least 5):
Snap Suplexes
Running Corner Body Splash (Stinger style..)
Half-Nelson Face Buster
Sit Out DDT (Avery hits the DDT but instead of him going to his back, he just falls to his ass.)
Flying Lariat. (Often rebounds off the ropes with a huge flying clothesline when he ducks someones move.)
Trademark move and description:
Chi-Town Collaboration - (Avery waits for the opponent to stand up from behind them, when they do he hits a Goldberg-Spear. Then picks up the opponent, and hits a flat-liner, then stands up and backs himself to the ropes then while the opponent lays on their back, Avery hits the ultimate warrior splash. The move is a very fast paced set of motions, and can finish the match. It's kicked out a lot.)
Lie Detector! - (Exactly like the Canadian Destroyer. Grabs the opponent like a piledriver. Instead of picking up the opponent, Avery front flips and lands on his butt. In doing so, the opponent goes for a backflip as well and lands headfirst.)
Finisher and description:
True-Spin - (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2virJYH23o - If you can't load the video, I grab them with one of their arms over my head. Avery locks them into a weird hold, and then flat spins back causing the opponent to land on his head.)
