Timebomb was rough as hell for Josephine, more than anyone else. But after winning three matches in one night (The beatdown thanks to her sister Chris was technically a victory for Josephine by forfeit) and becoming the only dual belt champion, she thought she’d finally get some respect. But of course, jealousy ran rampant in the WCF locker room. So to get away for a few days, Jojo decided to go where she always got respect... her home country. More specifically, a little hot spring in Hokkaido, the secondary island of Japan. She’d made the arrangements several times before... leave the U.S. (or Mexico) on Monday, leave Japan on Friday (Saturday in Japan, thanks to the International Date Line), and sleep until Sunday night. Of course this time around, she had an agenda in Japan...
Fade in on a nearly vacant hot spring, a natural one built into a floor of solid rock, steam all above the boiling hot water. Only two figures sit in the water, only their necks and heads visible above the water. One the hulking dual-belt goddess Josephine, and the other a much smaller, slimmer, and softer-featured woman with long, shimmering blue hair.
Josephine: Yeah, so I’m pissed off. You’d think that those guys would have had more respect for me than that, Aqualiss.
Aqualiss: It’s not that. Ever since Mr. Maker passed away and left Hokkaido Pro in the hands of Mr. Tadakichi, it’s been his way or the highway. Not everyone in HP has the options you do, to go anywhere and wrestle.
Josephine: Yeah, but to assault me like that... I’m just glad you weren’t among them.
Aqualiss: I would never do that, Josephine. I cherish our friendship.
Josephine: Yeah. I remember what we’ve been through. It’s been almost eight years, hasn’t it? You were my first serious Tag Team partner. I remember it well.
Aqualiss: But you were able to move on. I was just kind of holding you back...
Josephine: Come on. Don’t say that. I mean, look at you. You’re selling out arenas all over Japan.
Aqualiss: That’s very kind of you to say, Jojo, but we both know Christina’s the one people come to see. That’s what brings you here, isn’t it? There’s a Pay-Per-View on Friday, and I’m challenging glorious Chris for her heavyweight title.
Josephine: Is it my turn to be insulted?
Aqualiss: We slept in the same hotel room for almost a year, Josephine. I know how you work.
Josephine: Yeah... alright. But I also came here to support you.
Aqualiss: Then why can’t you come back to Hokkaido Pro? Everyone misses you, the ratings have been diving without you... that’s why Tadakichi keeps putting so much behind glorious Chris.
Josephine: I don’t think so. It’s sort of hard for me to stay in one place too long. Don’t get me wrong, I miss you. You’re probably the best friend I have in this business. But I’m like a lone wolf.
Aqualiss: Oh... I guess I understand. So, tell me more about your American federation. You beat three people in one night?
Josephine: Yeah. Three wins in one night, two belts at once, all in a couple of months, and STILL nobody gives me any measure of respect. Now I have to defend my belt against a guy named Ace... some whiny, faggot little drug dealer gambling addict who’s smaller than I am. I’ll just break that purple-haired freak in half and be done with it.
Aqualiss: What about this new protégé of yours?
Josephine: Well, Ellis isn’t really my protege. She’s... more like a business acquaintance. She’s something else... she’s a personality that has so many layers, I don’t think she even knows who she is at the core.
Aqualiss: Seems like you’ve got a lot going on in America...
Josephine: Come on, Aqualiss, why don’t you join us? The pay’s better, for one.
Aqualiss: I don’t think I could... I’d feel so awkward in America. I’m more comfortable here... and now I have a chance to hit it big.
Josephine: I doubt it... since Tadakichi thinks that my fucking sister is gonna get him ratings, he’ll do anything in his power to keep that belt on her. That’s the reason I’m here... I want to give you a fair shake.
Aqualiss: So... no chance of a long time partnership?
Josephine: Afraid not, old friend.
Breaking the stillness of the hot spring, the shimmering blue-haired woman turns over to face Josephine, one long slender arm wrapping around Jojo’s large shoulders as Aqualiss draws her lips close.
Aqualiss: Then... at least tonight... could we... for old time’s sake...
Josephine’s own large, rock-hard arm emerges from the steaming hot spring, wrapping around Aqualiss’ back. It’d been years since she had a lesbian experience, much less with the one woman she felt comfortable having them with.
Josephine: Just tonight...
The two hold each other’s bodies close as they kiss deeply, and the smoke in the hot spring intensifies enough that it blocks the camera’s shot, showing nothing but mist before the screen fades out.
