[Our scene begins in the promotional area at WCF studios where Tommy Havock is standing in front of a red screen that has his motto, “Do it You Won’t,” in varying degrees of silver lettering behind him. He is wearing a pair of long, blue wrestling trunks with silver and red highlight streaks throughout. Havock has on a black leather jacket over his care chest and has his WCF Television Title wrapped around his waist. Havock begins to speak to the camera…]
Tommy Havock: Here we are again, WCF. Tommy Havock, your WCF Television Champion, is coming to you in living color as he prepares for his contest Sunday night at Slam against fellow wrestling extraordinaire and Team of Treachery member, Wreck.
How appropriate it is that here we are in March Madness and Davey Ortega has scheduled a tournament to determine the number one contender for the WCF World’s Heavyweight Title. The NCAA has their version of March Madness, and now the WCF presents its own. Stars are created during tournaments such as these. If you look back in the annals of sports and sports entertainment, you will surely find that the cream of the crop always rises to the top during tournament season.
[Havock pulls his leather jacket from his stomach to expose his WCF Television Title. He rubs it up with his palm to preserve the shine, smirks, and begins to speak again.]
There’s also one general rule of the thumb to consider when looking at these tournaments. Very rarely does the underdog overtake the favorite. Very rarely does David beat Goliath. The Kansas City Royals could not defeat the Boston Red Sox in a tournament to decide the champion. It is just the way that life works.
This title sitting around my waist, WCF, represents why I have to be considered the favorite to win this tournament. Wreck, Logan, and the rest of the Team of Treachery, rest assured, I mean no disrespect to you guys at all. We are all tight and we stand united as a team. We will not be divided by this tournament. But for the rest of you turds here in the WCF, understand that possessing the WCF Television Title vaults me into the favorite’s position in this tournament. Aside from Reckless Jack, I am the man here in the WCF. I am second-to-none.
So I send a message to the Creative Team here at the WCF… Start printing the posters for your next pay-per-view… Send the billboards to the major cities and metropolises… Tommy Havock is main-eventing the next pay-per-view for the WCF. It will be the night he fulfills a destiny and captures the WCF World’s Heavyweight Championship. It will be the night that a dream is realized. Design the posters, construct the billboards, run the commercials… Go ahead… [glow=red,2,300]Do it, you won’t![/glow]
