We go backstage to Skyler Striker’s locker room, where he is relaxing and playing his acoustic guitar with eyes closed. The song we hear is ‘Santa Monica’ by Theory of a Deadman.
Skyler: …And I remember the day, when you left for Santa Monica – you left me to remain with all your excuses for everything…
Skyler finishes the song and sets his guitar down very gently, and as he begins to talk, he is spinning his pick through his fingers.
Skyler: Now, let’s see. I think that I have someone to talk to – oh, that’s right, it’s Danny Vice. The Vagrant. Daniel, let me tell you something. You had no reason to attack me after last week’s match. I won, fair and square, and you went and attacked me for nothing. For those of you who were asleep last week, here is what happened.

Skyler: Now, I have to think to myself – why would anyone do that? You had no reason to attack me with such fury. I had nothing against you, hell, I barely even knew you before I looked at your face last week in the locker room. But now – now I’ve got something against you. I have a reason for why you attacked me last week, Danny boy. It’s called destiny. This is the start of something new. This is destined to happen. Just like when I finally get you in a match, it will be destiny for me to blow you completely out of the ring when I hit you with the Final Revelation. It’s destiny, Daniel, and that’s all I’ve got to say about it. Believe me, it won’t be long before I get you inside that ring. Then you’ll regret what you did last week, Danny. But rest assured, you won’t have to wait that long before you regret it. You go up against Chino this week, Danny? Not only will Chino beat the crud out of you, because I’ve seen what he and Jackhammer can do, but I’ll make sure you don’t walk out of there. Don’t be late, Danny boy. You’ve got a date with destiny!
Skyler grabs his guitar again and begins to play once more, this time to ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ by The Who as the scene fades out.
