{The scene opens up in the Green Airport in Providence Rhode Island. Trent Townsend and Torrie are standing in line to get their bags checked and their tickets taken care of.}
Trent: "I've been trying to think of ways to tell you to stay here and not come with me. But I can't come up with anything."
Torrie: "That's because there are no words to be said. I told you I was coming with you and yes, I am a bit worried but that isn't going to stop me from being by your side. So let's not even go there."
Trent: "Alright, alright, it's your decision. I respect that. I'll leave it alone. But please for the love of God watch your step. I don't know about this guy."
Torrie: "Yeah, yeah. I'm going to be fine. Remember you're the one that told me everything would work out just fine now you are the one worrying?"
Trent: "I wouldn't call it worry really. Just concern."
{The line moves until it is Trent's turn to get this ticket information taken care of.}
Airport Worker: "Just the one bag sir?"
Trent: "Yeah, and this will be my carry on."
Airport Worker: "Very good sir. Have a nice flight."
Trent: "Thanks."
{Trent went to the side of the check in and waited for Torrie to get her ticket checked and her baggaged claimed. He sighed to himself thinking this is it. I'm on my way to a hardcore match with Knox and there is no turning back now. Torrie finally came up to him and smiled.}
Torrie: "What is it?"
Trent: "Oh, well I was just thinking about how there is no turning back now. The match between me and Knox is finally going to happen. All the hype and junk and whatever. It's finally going to come down to one man standing over the other."
Torrie: "You'll be the one standing. I know it. Come on. Let's check in at security and check our gate and whatnot."
{They threw their carry ons over their shoulders and walked toward security. They followed all the rules, taking off the shoes and everything. Even though they hated it, they followed the rules. They were through security in no time and standing in front of the television screens to check their flight and what gate it was departing from.}
Trent: "Fuck me hard."
Torrie: "What? Right now?"
Trent: "Our flight has been delayed for two hours. That just sucks."
Torrie: "Oh well we can find something to do. Let's go to one of the restuarants and have a drink or something."
Trent: "Yeah but two fucking hours."
Torrie: "Don't be a baby about it. Come on."
{Torrie led the way as they walked down the hallway of the airport. They stumbled across a small and cozy looking restuarant and bar.}
Torrie: "How about this place?"
Trent: "Yeah, it'll be alright."
{The duo take a seat at the bar. The bar tender comes up to them.}
Bartender: "What can I get you two?"
Trent: "We'll have two rums and cokes please."
Bartender: "Do you have ID?"
{Trent gets a disgusted look on his face.}
Trent: "What? What do you mean do I have ID? I'm twenty eight years old for Christ sake."
Bartender: "I'm sorry sir but it's my job. I can't serve you unless I see some ID."
Torrie: "Just give him some ID Trent."
{Torrie and Trent both hand their IDs to the bartender. He checks them carefully and then hands them back to them.}
Bartender: "Okay, two rum and cokes coming up."
Trent: "That was a hassle."
Torrie: "It's okay. I don't know why you are so tense for."
Trent: "Well I've got a lot on my plate right now. I have Knox threatening you guys and now I have to face him. No turning back, no changing my mind. The rematch has been signed and it's going to go down. Plus now you're coming and I have to worry about my girlfriend being in the back waiting for me."
{Torrie gets a confused look on her face.}
Trent: "What? What did I say?"
Torrie: "You called me your girlfriend."
Trent: "So? Is there something wrong with that?"
Torrie: "Well you've never called me that before."
Trent: "Well if you don't like it I won't say it anymore."
Torrie: "No, it's not that. I do like it. I was just surprised is all."
{The drinks finally arrive breaking the awkward moment the two were sharing.}
Torrie: "Well, I would like to propose a toast to you beating the hell out of Knox and then maybe getting some gold? You think you can do that for me?"
Trent: "I'd do anything for you."
Torrie: "Cheers."
{The two knock glasses and then take a drink.}
Torrie: "Hmm, the bartender made them strong."
Trent: "I can't wait to rip into Knox. I'm going to rip every part of his body to pieces and leave him laying there like a wounded cub. He wanted to be a gentlemen and ask for a rematch like a little pretty dandy but he was shot down so he has to act like a child and cheap shot me to get his rematch. He's such an idiot. I don't know how people like that are able to tie their own damn shoes in the morning. Calling him stupid would be an insult to stupid people."
Torrie: "Well you have to understand his background honey. He doesn't have the background you do. I mean being stupid was what was expected of him and believe me, he lives up to it well. In fact when he opens his mouth I automatically assume what he says is going to be stupid and it is. So you can't blame him too much. His parents were probably idiots and they had him too young and you know the rest of the story."
Trent: "Yeah I know. I guess I should give him some credit. He did win at Slam. It was a tag match but he still won. I wonder though if he ever wonders what life would be like if he would of had enough oxygen at birth? Because it's obvious he has some sort of brain defect. As an outsider I wonder what he thinks of the human race?"
{Torrie giggles a little and takes another drink of her rum and coke. Trent does the same.}
Trent: "So were you really confused when I called you my girlfriend?"
Torrie: "A little. It just caught me off guard."
Trent: "Well what about Marie and Mike? I mean if we have a relationship then -"
Torrie: "No, it's not like that. Nothing is going to change Trent. I still want to be with them as much as you do. I mean I'm not talking about monogamy here. I'm talking about what you want to refer to me as. And if you want to refer to me as your girlfriend then I would like that."
Trent: "Well that makes me happy Torrie. But it also makes me pissed off. Because he not only insulted my friend but he insulted my girlfriend. And that is something he is going to pay for."
{Torrie leaned closed to Trent.}
Torrie: "Tell me really why you want to beat him. Your pride? Because of us?"
{Trent pauses a moment, like he is thinking for the right answer.}
Trent: "Both. The cheap shot was enough to threaten my pride and I have to admit when he did that to me it hurt my pride a little. Nursing a wounded ego is a hard thing to do. When he attacked me he ignited something inside of me and I haven't been able to put it out since. Hell, I probably don't even want to put it out because it will just give me more will power to beat the son of a bitch. But also I'm fighting for your alls pride. His insults and threats as petty as they may be and as stupid as they may be made me think really hard. What if something actually happened to you guys? Where would I be then? That's what turned on my defense mode and now that it's on it won't go off. I'm going to tear him limb from limb and watch him bleed and I'm going to enjoy all of it. I'll use whatever means necessary to beat him down to the ground where he belongs."
{Torrie leans back.}
Torrie: "I hope you do Trent. I honestly hope you do."
{There is a slight pause between the two.}
Torrie: "Well come on. Let's go get on our flight."
{Trent nodded and reached into his back pocket for his wallet. He takes out a twenty and lays it down on the bar for the drinks.}
Trent: "Keep the change."
{The two walk away, hand in hand as the camera fades to black.}
