The scene opens with a sight of an old basketball court with six children on it playing basketball. The old cracked concrete, the busted backboard that could break as we speak; the rusted rim that is several colors from all of the weather through the years. The net, that is just a measly old chain. The face of D-Day just changes instantly as though remembering the memories of the old wrecked court. He stands there in awe, like he is hypnotized or in a trance. He turns to the other court across the street, in other words the rich kid’s court. He notices the fresh cement on the ground. The sight of a new store bought backboard, the shiny rim glistering in the sunlight; net that is mate of pure wool. He turns and looks at the camera gasping for air before he speaks.
D-Day: You see that two courts on the same street but not identical. One court has older equipment, while the other has the new and expensive equipment. It sickens me to be able to watch this happening. Although the old court is rusted and cracked, doesn’t mean that the new court is any better. I will tell you this…I have been having some trouble with my life with the wrestling and my personal life right now. Well, we will go back to the example for why I am telling you this. Some of the contenders think that the young has an advantage of being more athletic. People also say that the older contenders have more experience. Well I don’t believe in any of that crap that people tell each other. This week at One will be terrifying for all four contenders.
D-Day walks ahead of the camera man. He is walking just like he has nowhere to go. The camera man then catches up with D-Day and D-Day begins to talk, once again.
D-Day: I have at least one thing on every competitor. I have beaten three out the four contenders in the match. I have beaten Prince Jimmy Dean when he debuted in the WCF. I have also beaten Anastasia just a couple of weeks ago. An Anthrax I have not gotten a rematch for the tournament match. A suspicious waterfall of blood falls from the top of the stadium. You also build up the strength to lift up your arm and pin me for the three count. I have been battling for this title ever since the tournament began. I will unite with my hand up and that gold around my waist. You all may have had your stories for winning the title. When I win that match at One it wont be a dream it will be reality. Remember that while you all sleep. For this special occasion, that belt will be a Christmas present from the WCF.
D-Day turn his head and starts to walk through an alley to a random home. He stands there staring it. He starts to dowse off into the sky. He then regains control and looks back into the camera. He takes a long breath and starts to speak.
D-Day: I’m sorry about that I was just remembering an old memory. Anyway I need to start to talk about my match at One. I think I’m pretty sure that I said everything I wanted to about my opponents. This match is the moment of true in my eyes. We have been in match with each other before, but now this is the deciding match on who is better, and who disserves to where gold around their waist.
D-Day keeps walking, following him is the cameraman. They walk to a house where the door is shattered. D-Day looks at the camera once more and begins to speak.
D-Day: This is the house of one of my opponents. The wrestler of Anastasia Petrova. She had a little conniption today about a little prank call. She couldn’t stand a person calling her and wasting her time baking her little cookies. Honey, you are beautiful and everything but to be able to be a cook too. Now that is a match made in heaven. Now we don’t really know the real you Anastasia…now do we? No one knew that you were a cook also. Now I know that cooking is a little detail that you forgot, but you also got to think… what else she is trying to hide from the contenders at the WCF, and most importantly her adoring fans. You all may think that I am trying to destroy her reputation and what other shit is important to the WCF. I am just trying to make a simple point.
D-Day: Next I have to talk about my other opponent Jimmy Dean. The little story he shared with us all this weak proves something. That he is so pitiful to only meet a girl at a television store. Now doesn’t that seem a little odd to some of you. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with meeting her at an electronics store, the weird thing is having sex by the store in an alley at night, while the store is still open. Now that is a little screwed up to me. Well we all have our own romantic fantasy.
D-Day: Anthrax, I don’t have much to tell about you. I have just hated your guts ever since I saw you walk down that ramp. You may have beat me in the normal ring of the WCF, but we will be entering the ring of the most grandest and worshiped Pay Per View of WCF…ONE!!! The mysterious blood could have been anybodies plot to make me lose that match so that I would fail to become the Television Champion. I have adapted to being able to forget about that certain person. I will sum up what advise I have for you, watch your back you never know what might be happening behind you. It may be a super kick, to a full nelson, to a raged man/woman gripping the legs of a metal chair soon to have your blood spattered all over the head of it.
D-Day: I have some advise for the rookie Zoey. You better stay out of our way if you want to be successful in this company. You are starting off just like I did for my debut match for WCF. I was facing the Veterans Ryan Daniels and Chris Avery in a triple threat match. We all got a ten count to end the match making it a draw. So…Daniels thought he had better things to do than face a no one rookie I was. He was wrong, but he was also smart. Avery said to himself many times that he could destroy a simple rookie I was. He was wrong, my very next match was me and Avery doo king it out over a simple rivalry. I came up victorious, with my hand raised I felt like the happiest man alive. I soon learned that there were more than just winning your debut match. You have to be ready for all of those matches ahead awaiting you in the future. So don’t count yourself out just yet, or don’t think you can mosey on in and open up a can of whop ass on us. That would be very bad. Zoey just take my advise and stay out of my way, and other experienced competitors in the WCF. You just keep fighting those rookies at the bottom of the food chain.
D-Day then walks away from the home to another location. The airport where he will be leaving very soon to Los Angeles, California. Entering the Memorial Coliseum to the One special.
He turns and speaks to the camera once again.
D-Day: I have been awaiting this moment ever since I joined the WCF my chance to begin my winning streak at One, and to finally were the belt around my waist walking out of the ring to the locker rooms and exiting in my Ford mustang. Ooooo how long I have been waiting for that moment to come. All of this excitement has got me over welmed with excitement and curiosity to enter the ring and fight for the gold that was once around many others waists including the recent Anastasia Petrova.
D-Day walks back to his home and stands in front of the door it is getting very dark, but the glowing full moon shinning light on the misty night. He opens the door and gives his final farewells to the cameraman and the watchers at home.
D-Day: Farewell my good citizens I have hoped you enjoyed my opinion of the One match. I know you have heard my opponents stories as well. You could be believing anyone’s story but I give you my farewell with my humble thought of the situation. Good day to you all and have a good night. To all of my opponents watching remember that that night of December 20, 2009 will be a bloody hell for every soul in that ring.
D-Day turns around and slams the door right in the cameraman’s face and goes on to bed. The last shot you see is the lonely cameraman walking away from the shut door and down the sidewalk to his home, where he rests to await another day to come.
