[The scene opens with Price sitting alone in an airport terminal, scrolling through some e-mails on his cell phone as he waits for his flight to leave. The phone buzzes as a call comes through.]
[Price is quick to hang up the phone, trying to avoid another discussion on why he refuses to use the "L Word". He goes back to scrolling through his e-mails, not really paying attention to his surroundings. A young boy comes up to him and stands in front of him. It takes Price a few seconds, but he finally realizes his presence.]
Price: What's up?
Boy: I know you.
Price: From TV?
[The boy nods.]
Price: You want an autograph or a picture or something.
[The boy's eyes light up as he nods.]
Price: You got a camera?
[The boy shakes his head no.]
Price: How bout a paper or pen?
[The boy shakes his head no as he looks down at the ground.]
[Price laughs and pulls a piece of paper out of his carry on bag and scribbles down a signature. He hands it to the boy who scurries off, clutching it as if it were a million dollars. Price smiles and goes back to his phone. An new e-mail comes through. It's from the man.]
Don't forget the talk we had. I know it's a lot to take in so close to such a big match for you, but it was time for you to hear the truth. I have faith that you will make the right choices and I hope to hear from you after your match.
[Price deletes the e-mail and turns off his phone, setting it beside him as he sits back in the plastic chair and begins thinking to himself.]
The right choices? And what exactly would those be? Turning my back on the only two people that have stood behind since I arrived in WCF. Setting myself up to be busted back down to the lower card, or possibly even fired. Would it really be worth all that just to make things right for myself?
[Price leans forward with his elbows on his knees and places his face in his hands.]
Then again everything he said was right. They've been using me for months to carry out their own dirty work. And in the end what did I get? Not a damn thing.
[Price picks up his phone again and cycles through his contact list until it reaches Seth Lerch's name. The temptation to call him and speak his mind is there, but Price decides against it.]
Wait until after One. The last thing you need to do is piss him off. But you know what, I think I'm going to take that advice I got yesterday. I think now is the time for some changes.
[Price reaches down and pulls his carry on bag out from under his seat. He sets it down on the seat next to him and unzips it.]
And what better way to bring about some change...then to re-introduce myself to the world.
[He reaches into the bag and pulls out a red Philadelphia Phillies fitted cap.]
Things are never going to be the same again.
Price: Hello?
*Silence*
Price: Oh hey, what's up babe?
*Silence*
Price: Yeah I'm just waiting for my flight. It looks like another half hour before we start to board.
*Silence*
Price: All right we'll I'll call you when I get there.
*Silence*
Price: You too.
