The video cuts in to the WCF Hall of Fame center at the main WCF building. A few fans are walking around the building, looking at all the superstars that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame over the years. Each wrestler's section has a wax version of them standing off to the side doing one of the wrestler's famous poses. Some fans stand beside these and pose along with them or put their arm around them as if they are really getting a picture taken with the wrestler.
The door to the Hall of Fame opens up and in walks a large, muscular man. He's wearing black pants, a black hoodie and poking out from under the large hood is a baseball cap. His face is hidden under the ball cap and the hood. He casually walks around stopping at some of the displays to stare at them for a little bit while just glancing at some of the other ones. A couple of the fans give him weird looks as they walk past him as he's much bigger and imposing than anyone else in the center.
The man finally comes to a stop in front of the section where the 2009 WCF Hall of Fame inductees are grouped together. The man turns his back to the camera as he starts looking at all the different wrestlers' displays. On the back of his hoodie is a Punisher symbol, signifying that this is likely WCF superstar Hector Rodriguez.
"The Hall of Fame. No one ever goes into a federation and expects to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. It's never some goal that people really strive for. It's an honor bestowed on the federation's most important and beloved or hated individuals that grace its ring. Some men and women don't get inducted until years and years after they walk down the ramp for the last time, some may never be inducted into the Hall of Fame despite all the debate and discussion by some of its most loyal and rabid fans.
Each one of these people were significant to WCF for various reasons. They did things and were part of things that caused people to tune in each week. They were part of some of the biggest moments in WCF history, they may have even been the cause of these things that happened to cause them to be immortalized in here. They were part of some of the biggest pay-per-view events in the history of the Wrestling Championship Federation. They helped make events like One memorable. They helped make it the crown jewel for the federation.
Even though most wrestlers typically don't strive to get into the Hall of Fame nor do they make it a goal, that is not true with myself. I will one day be immortalized within a figure of wax in this room. I will one day be known for memorable events, memorable moments. I will be in here because I caused people to tune in each week. The road, the path to the Hall of Fame for me starts this weekend at One. The Hardcore title...Hector Rodriguez versus the champion, Greenfever. I've been battling with the Team of Torture for a while now and so it's no surprise that I'm finally pitted at the biggest show of the year against the supposed "personal wrecking machine" of Seth Lerch. Personal wrecking machine, huh? Well it wasn't that long ago that I personally introduced myself to this Greenfever by exploding from within the Hotdog Mascot costume and leaving him lying in the splintered remains of the announcer's table.
My actions on that night were just the beginning. I was sending a message that I'm not to be taken lightly and that I am a force to be reckoned with. Jay Price once said that my new attitude was thanks to him, that I had been worn down him until I finally decided to start getting violent. Maybe you did have a hand in that Mr. Price, but I think it was also the reintroduction to the world of hardcore that has awoken this new attitude within me. Speaking of my battles with Jay Price and the Team of Torture and the upcoming match with Greenfever, as anyone who has followed me here in WCF knows, there's been one common theme involved with me. A theme that fuels me, that inspires me, that motivates me: respect. I have constantly fought, gone after, and as of late...targeted those who show the world disrespect.
When you step back and look at the big picture, who is it that most people view as the guy who is the most disrespectful person in the WCF? People think it is Torture. Naturally...since he's the bastard world champion. However, I think people need to take a closer look. I think the most disrespectful person in the WCF has to be the hardcore champion, Greenfever. A lunatic psychopath who makes claims of being God. Here we are in the nation of the United States of America. A land where religion reigns supreme for the most part. A place where most people profess a belief in God and here we have a simple man running around on television each week claiming to be God.
How much more disrespectful can you get? This is where the Mexican War Machine comes in. This is where I step in and put him in his place. This is where I step in for the people of America. I step in for the children. I step in for the people who watch TV as their favorite wrestlers give them hope of a brighter future. They sit there in front of the television hoping that their favorites win over their enemies. They sit there while people such as Greenfever make these outrageous, bold, disrespectful claims. They sit there in the hopes that at any time someone will step out from nowhere and silence them. That they will put them in their place and shut them up for good. So that good will reign supreme once more.
I take this burden onto my shoulders this Sunday at One. I take the burden of all of the people who depend on me. I take the responsibility of stopping evil men such as Greenfever. I am responsible for his actions. I am responsible for his words. Simply putting him in a few wrestling holds, or hitting him with a chair, or getting a close two-count will not cut it. There is no middle ground here. There is no gray area here either. It is black-and-white. It is cut and dry. I either lose and fail the people, fail the ones who depend on me. The alternative is to win. The alternative is to become the hardcore champion. That is not my goal though.
My goal is not to go in there this Sunday and defeat Greenfever for the WCF hardcore championship. No, the hardcore championship is nothing more than a reward. My goal is to go in there and defeat Greenfever. To put him in his place. To make him realize his mistakes. To show him his humanity, that he is not divine like he believes. I will wreck him. I will destroy him. The people they will cheer me on, they will be there with me fueling me the whole way. Every punch to his face will not be my own fist, but the fist of all the people in the crowd, all the people watching on TV or through the webcast on their computers. When I hit him with the Respecto and the Toluca Slam and then fly through the air and hit him with a Toluca Drop and pin him...it will not be me perched on the turnbuckle holding the hardcore title above me, it will be everyone holding it up.
Greenfever, you think you're clever by speaking in my native language, telling me that I'm a piece of Mexican shit and that you're my God. Here's something for you to chew on until we meet in the ring...Todos consiguen su merecido al fin. Everyone gets his comeuppance in the end..."
Hector turns and walks towards the door as the video slowly fades out.
