Before the video even cuts in, the ring of a phone can be heard. When the video comes in, we're taken to a hotel room in what is probably the same city as this week's Slam. In the background, Hector Rodriguez can be seen standing out on the balcony by himself. His manager, Carlos Estrada, is in the foreground walking over to the ringing phone. He picks it up.

Hey, Carlos, mi amigo. It's Hank Brown, from WCF.
Carlos
Si. Mr. Brown. How are you doing today?
Hank
I'm doing great! How about yourself and Hector?
Carlos
We're doing great. We're about to head out of the room and get some breakfast at the hotel restraunt and then out to the local gym to warm up for this week's Slam.
Hank
Yeah I was going to try and catch you somewhere today to get an interview with you, but Mr. Lerch said you didn't let us know where you were staying or anything this week.
Carlos
Yeah, we were running behind this week. We almost didn't make it. Bad weather, crappy car. You know what I mean.
Hank
Haha, yeah. Well, do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions before you guys head out to eat?
Carlos
Sure, fire away.
Hank
Well, first I want to say congratulations on the win last week over Doc Henry.
Carlos
Thanks. Hector was starting to get frustrated over being cheated every single week.
Hank
Yeah, too bad it had to be a win over one of your friends who you have been teaming with occasionally to combat the Team of Torture. Seth seems determined to cause animosity between you guys as you can see this week with your match against the newly formed team of Doc Henry and Johnny Reb aka The New Confederacy.
Carlos
Si, you are correct. He wants to get us all to hate each other so that the Team of Torture can stay on top and have nothing to worry about. He thinks that putting Slickie T in the ring with Hector, Doc, and Johnny is going to get him hurt and not be ready for the World title match at One. This, it will not happen. Hector has Slickie's back.
Hank
So, you don't mind having to face off against Doc Henry and Johnny Reb.
Carlos
No, we will face off against anyone that Seth Lerch puts in front of Hector. Hector will defeat everyone. Hector will not stop until he has rid WCF of the disrespect that the Team of Torture causes. Even if Seth Lerch were to put Hector in matches against friends each week, he would get in the ring with them and then defeat them, friend or foe.
Hank
This will be the second time that Slickie T and Hector Rodriguez are teaming together. Last time they faced Jay Price and Greenfever.
Carlos
Yes, unfortunately we lost that match, but it was the aftermath that was just as important. The ToT they try to interfere in our business and attack Hector's friends and you see what happened did you not? Hector comes in there after I purposely threw a chair to Ryan Daniels and his face was caved in via the chair hitting it due to a vicious clothesline from hell. Hell is exactly what Hector puts people through for attacking his friends, men such as Slickie T.

You consider him a friend now, but Hector and Slickie are no strangers to facing off in the ring.

So? Like I said before, Hector will face anyone he's put up against. Hector has always had the utmost respect for Slickie T and he still does. He considers him an ally now. Just like he had Logan's back weeks ago when they were a tag team, Hector will watch Slickie's back, too. Slickie seems like the loner type, but I will say it now publicly, that Hector Rodriguez has your back Slickie. Anyone that messes with Slickie, messes with Hector. This, it is not a threat, it is a promise.

So what do you think the chances are of Hector and Slickie coming out on top in the tag team match tonight?

I think they have great odds. It's a former world champion and his friend Doc Henry versus the former US champion and current number one contender to the world title Slickie T...teaming up with the Mexican War Machine, Hector Rodriguez. I think that Slickie and Hector will take this match easily. Both men are on a roll and they will not be stopped. Neither man has gold around his waist, but that will change for both men as when the dust settles after One, people will look back and see that both Slickie T and Hector are champions and have title belts strapped around their waists.
