The camera feed cuts on in the WCF lockerroom. A massive, muscular specimen known to everyone as the Mexican War Machine, Hector Rodriguez, stands before the mirror. He's looking down towards the floor as his hands are behind his head, lacing up his trademark Punisher-style mask. Finally finishing fixing the mask, Hector puts his arms down and flexes at the mirror, prepping himself for tonight's hardcore match with Doc Henry.
Tonight, things have to change. Tonight, I have to win. Tonight, I have to stop disappointing my people in Mexico. I've only won a couple of matches. Yeah, most of my matches have had interference in them, but I need to overcome these obstacles if I am to one stand upon the top of the WCF mountain, clutching the WCF world title. If I plan to restore respect to WCF and the sport as a whole, I have to learn to overcome these setbacks. This week on Slam, Doc Henry will realize that he's simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. I have my eyes set on the Hardcore championship at One in my match against Greenfever. This week on Slam, I will once again put on a hardcore clinic and show the world why I am the Mexican War Machine. Doc Henry can bring all the weapons he wants to bring, but he will not bring enough tonight.
When the dust settles after our match, I will break this losing streak I've been on as of late. I will prove to the world that I deserve this shot at the hardcore title and it wasn't just given to me simply because Mr. Lerch hates me and wants to see me ended.
The feed fades as Hector turns and walks out of the lockerroom.
