(The scene opens with the camera walking down a hallway. The hallways has beige carpet and the walls are wallpapered. It seems to be a house or an apartment. The camera passes a bathroom on the left and then a bedroom on the right. The camera walks toward a door that is halfway open. The room appears to be an office. Shaun Sexton is sitting in a rolling office chair with his back to the camera. He is typing on a desktop computer. The camera zooms in on the screen to show that Shaun is writing an email. Shaun turns to the camera.)
Shaun Sexton: Ever since I won the WCF Television Title I knew that I was a marked man. I knew that people would be coming out of the woodwork gunning for my championship. I knew that people would want to make an example out of me just like I made Ace and Jack of Blades an example. I knew that everyone would try to make their name by beating me and being the one to end my Television Title reign. Well I guess that time has finally come. Last week at Slam I teamed up The Brotherhood. They were the ones that needed me, I didn’t need them for anything. Then sometime last week I heard their comments, that they didn’t need me that I needed them and to be quite honest with me that made me a little mad. But being the professional that I am, I was going to just check my emotion about the situation at the door and go into the arena with a clean mind and do the match. It was just one night and then I could start preparing myself for Bobby Cairo. Little did I know that when I arrived at the building I would be greeted by the dumbest and most crazy man I have ever met. I don’t even know their real names, so I just call them Dumb Cook and Crazy Cook. At that point I knew that I was going to be in for a long night, but I went out and did the match anyway.
Just when it looked like that we were going to win the match, Crazy Cook had to have one of his Crazy fits and hit me. The anger that I tried to check at the door, was no longer at the door but built up even more. It went for anger to flat pissing me off. Then to top that off we lost the match. Brotherhood, I don’t know about you but I not a great loser. See usually the point of a match is to win, not have your shoulders pinned to the mat and count the lights. But if that is your thing then that is fine, its just not mine. After the match I went backstage, got dressed and left the building before I did anything that I could have been arrested for. Then the next morning I got up, had my breakfast, did my morning workout, and then came upstairs in my office to check the card for this weeks Slam and what did I find…
(Shaun turns back to the computer and he pulls up the WCF website. He clicks on the Sunday Slam card link and the card pops up. He scrolls down the match that reads ‘Shaun Sexton and Bobby Cairo vs The Brotherhood. Shaun points at the screen were the match is.)
Shaun: When I read that I would be teaming with Bobby Cairo to face Dumb and Crazy Cook, I was happy at first. I was glad that I could finally get my hands one the stupid idiot that not only caused me to lose a match even it was a six man but that I could release some anger. I could release some anger on two guys that are the number one contenders for the Tag Team Titles. I could release some anger on a couple of guys who think that they are big stars but are nothing more than wannabes. Boys you picked the wrong person to try to make your name on. My star is on the rise, and you two’s stars will never rise. They are not even the same galaxy as me. But then I was not only happy for me but I was actually happy for you two as well. See I was happy because for the first time in your WCF career you would get to step into the ring with the newest and best star in the WCF. You would get the opportunity to show exactly what you two were made of. You would have your chance to show the people that you could hang with the best that the WCF has to offer. You get to step into the ring with Shaun Sexton and Bobby Cairo…
That is when it finally hit me exactly who my partner was going to be in this match. My partner is the man that I will be facing at Aftermath. The man that is going to try to take my WCF Television title from me. Bobby Cairo I have been sitting back and watching what you bring to the ring. I watched you win the right to face me at the PPV at Explosion and I was impressed. I am impressed with your past credentials. I am impressed that you are a former Heavyweight Champion. I am impressed that you were the wrestler of the week and had the match of the week last week. All of that is well and good and when the time comes we will get in the ring and beat the living hell out of each other. But for this week I am asking you to have a little different approach…
Bobby it is like this, I am apprehensive about this match. One because of the thought of Aftermath is just a few weeks away and I would completely understand if you left me in the middle of the ring and watched me get my ass beat in a two versus one mugging. And I bet you feel the same way toward me. But this is what I am asking, we are both professionals here, for this week I am asking that you put what is coming up in a few weeks aside. I am asking that you and I for this night and maybe never again coexist as a team to solve a little problem that I have. I am not asking for you to be my friend, hell I am not even asking you to be my acquaintance. I just want you to be a good tag team partner for one night. Then we can look forward to the classic that is going to be Aftermath. The ball is in your court Bobby, it is your choice, just choose wisely, very wisely.
(Shaun returns to the screen. He pulls up yahoo and goes to his e-mail. The camera turns around and walks out of the door that it came in through. Once the camera leaves the room the scene fades.)
