Sunday
Shannan Lerch: Kiladelphia Driver..this is it! Price has the match here.
Jones is laid out on the mat but Price is looking down at him and is shaking his head.
Zach Davis: What is he doing? Why doesn't he just go for the win?
Price slips out of the ring and grabs hold of a table. He pushes the table into the ring and then slides in after it. Price stands up and sets the table up in the center of the ring. Price walks over to the side of the ring where the wall is and grabs the ladder that he put in the ring earlier. He stands the ladder up and looks over at Alex Jones. He points at Jones....and then at the table......and then at the ladder.
Shannan Lerch: No.
Zach Davis: No way.
Price walks over to Jones and lifts him up. He kicks Jones in the stomach and then hits him with the Busted Grill. Price gets back up to his feet and lifts Jones up before laying him across the table. Price reaches down and grabs hold of the baseball bat that he put in their earlier. He stands by the table and slams the bat down on the body of Jones several times before finally noticing the officials trying to free D-Day. Price rolls out of the ring, bat in hand, and attacks the people trying to help D-Day. Once they're taken care of Price turns his attention to D-Day who is writhing in pain. Price steps up close to D-Day's head and whispers something into his ear but no one can seem to make it out. Price then steps back and unloads onto the back of D-Day with the bat. Price finally drops the bat and makes his way back into the ring. Price walks over to the table to check on Jones but he is knocked out cold. Price then turns his attention to the ladder and proceeds to climb up it slowly. Price finally reaches the top of the ladder with his back to Jones who is still lying on the table. Price climbs to the very top step, breathes in deep and then exectues a moonsault off the top and through the table with Alex Jones still on it.
Shannan Lerch: OH MY GOD. THE WTF MANEUVER OFF A LADDER AND THROUGH A TABLE!
Zach Davis: Both men may be out cold but Price landed right on Alex Jones. The referee is doing the three count.
One!
Two!
Three!
Shannan Lerch: That's it folks. Jay Price retains the belt.
Zach Davis: And he has to wrestle later tonight too... not good for the ToT, after he went through this hellacious beating.
Price stumbles to his feet, quickly grabbing his Television Title and collapsing back down, rolling out of the ring and heading to the back as medics attend to D-Day and Alex Jones.
Price finally makes it to the back, limping and holding his back in obvious pain. He immediately heads to the trainers office to get his injuries checked out. Multiple cuts on his chest and back are bleeding out and his back is in some of the worst pain he has ever experienced. The trainer checks Price over and decides that the cuts are nothing too major but recommends some rest and ice for his back. He says that if the pain is too bad in the morning he should get it checked out. Price heads back to his locker room and carefully strips down and heads into the showers to let the hot water massage his back. The hot water feels so good on his sore back. Price closes his eyes and replays the events of the match he was just in. The moonsault wasn't necessary but Price knows that move is what makes him the money that he gets. He knows it's moves like that which make him so much better than the rest. After the shower Price gets himself dressed in fresh ring attire and tries to mentally prepare himself for the Hellimination match that is just an hour or so away. He knows that this is going to be a defining match. The type of match that will make his name known worldwide. A WCF lackie appears at his doorway to let him know that Lerch and Torture are holding a team meeting and they want him there. Price gets up, throws his TV Championship over his shoulder and heads out the door towards Lerch's Office. A half hour later Price returns to his dressing room to find the door busted down in pieces and his room a total mess. Price is pissed off beyond all belief and hollers for the lackie.
Price: "What the fuck happened here? I was gone for 30 minutes and my shit gets torn to pieces?"
Lackie: "It was Rick Mad and Steve Carr, Mr. Price. They were fighting back here during their match and they ended up going right through your door."
Price: "Fucking two bit hacks keep on destroying my shit. Honestly, can't those two keep their shit away from my personal property. So what are you going to do to fix this?"
Lackie: "Well I could put up a curtain for you if you like."
Price: "A Curtain? You can't get me another room?"
Lackie: "No sir, all of the rooms are full."
Price bitch slaps the lackie across the face.
Price: "Find me another damn room before I knock you to the ground and feed you some chicklets."
Lackie (holding his jaw): "Chicklets?"
Price: "Your teeth you fucking moron. Now get out of here."
Price surveys the disaster zone that was once his locker room and shakes his head.
Price: "I'm going to have to put a stop to this shit myself."
The End Of The Hellimination Match
Price locks Hector for a Superplex. But Hector stops Price from doing the move, using his weight to his advantage. He jabs Price a few times and then shoves him off, causing Price to hit the mat. Rodriguez steadies himself...
Zach Davis: This could be the-
Toluca Drop! The crowd roars as Hector hits the move on Jay Price, and they're on their feet as Hector pins him, hooking the leg!
ONE!
TWO!
Shannan Lerch: The Team of Torture is defeated!?!
NO! Seth pulled the referee out of the ring before he could count to three!
Zach Davis: What!?
Seth quickly pulls the ref shirt off of the ref's back. The ref, of course, is in no position to argue. Seth puts it on and slides into the ring, and Hector looks angry (or as angry as a masked wrestler can look, anyway).
Shannan Lerch: With that scary skull on his mask, Hector ALWAYS looks angry.
Zach Davis: Huh?
Shannan Lerch: Oh, nothing. Talking to myself.
Hector walks up to Seth, shaking his head, but Seth is heard yelling "NO ESPANOL, NO ESPANOL!" Rodriguez turns back to Price... who hits him with a Low Blow!
Zach Davis: I bet Seth is going to DQ Jay Price! Oh wait. No, no he won't. Ugh.
Price gets up and hits the Busted Grill! He pins Hector and Seth counts..
ONE!TWO!THREE!
Shannan Lerch: The Team of Torture wins!
Zach Davis: What a fast count! Hector Rodriguez was, once again, screwed.
Price stands up, the sole survivor of the Hellimination match. Seth raises his arm high in the air.
As boos and trash rain down on the ring Price slowly rolls out of the ring and once again makes his way to the back. Price makes his way towards his locker room before he realizes that his was destroyed earlier in the evening and once again curses loudly to himself. Price heads straight for the showers, and after allowing the hot water to massage out the soreness, he gets changed into his street clothes and heads out into the long hallway that leads to the parking lot. Tonight there will be a party, no doubt to celebrate the ToT's domination of the night, and Price will of course be expected to show his face. Price drops his bags off into the trunk of his rental car and shuts it before climbing behind the wheel slowly. As Price starts up the car he checks his phone to make sure he has the right address for the hotel Lerch got for the team and he heads off into the night.
Monday
Price wakes up in his hotel room bed and is greeted by a punch of pain in the back. He barely got any sleep last night as he rolled around for hours trying to be comfortable but the pain mixed with his usual uncomfortableness of being in a bed other than his own made that virtually impossible. Price reaches over and grabs his cell phone to check his messages. The first message he opens is from Torture, congratulating him once again for proving the ToT's dominance in both of his matches. The second message is from Lerch letting him know that his big reward that he was promised is that he gets to pick his opponent for Slam. Price sits the phone back down and thinks hard about who exactly he wants to face. Most would pick an easy opponent, a jobber that won't be even close to a challenge. Price however is not most and he knows he'll have to pick someone that will at least cause him to bring his B Game. Price picks the phone back up and texts Lerch two words...Steve Carr. Price puts the phone on vibrate and puts it back on the nightstand before getting up out of the bed. Price flips on the TV and listens to the analysts talk sports on ESPN. After a few minutes of their ramblings Price heads for the shower and then gets dressed. He has a flight to Philadelphia to catch at 1pm and it's already 11am so he decides to catch a quick breakfast before grabbing a cab to the airport. Before leaving the room Price's phone vibrates in his pocket once more and he checks it. The message is from Lerch and it simply states: He's yours. Price smiles and heads out the door and into a nearby elevator.
Tuesday Afternoon
Price is sitting in his kitchen in his South Philadelphia home eating one of Pat's Cheesesteaks and an order of fries. Normally someone getting delivery from Pat's is unheard of but Price of course is not a random Joe off of the streets. Price knows the owner personally and anytime Price wants a cheesesteak a Pat's employee will personally deliver it. As Price is eating his lunch he is watching the WCF Network News Channel. Currently the two analysts are discussing Helloween and the potential fallout from all of the matches. Price's TV Match is discussed and both agree that it was nothing short of brutal and sickening to watch, causing Price to smile. The Hellimination match is then brought up and the two seem to differ on what this could mean. One says that the match shows just how dominant Price and the ToT are, while the other criticizes Lerch for interfering in the finish and ruining a perfectly good match. Price grabs his phone and texts Seth, sending a strong recommendation that the analyst should be fired. Two minutes later Lerch texts back, agreeing with him. Finally the analysts begin discussing the upcoming Slam event and the match card. Both men agree that Steve Carr versus Jay Price will probably be a squash match and that the match is simply a result of Lerch rewarding Price for his performance. Price grins.
Wednesday Morning
Wednesday has finally rolled around and Price is in the gym working his ass off to his normal routine. Having already finished with free weights and squats, Price has moved onto the bench press. Twenty minutes and countless reps later Price gets up and wipes down the bench with a rag before taking some sips of water. He checks the clock and sees that it's almost 11:30am. He has a meeting with some business associate later on but that's not until 6pm so he decides to continue with his workout.
Wednesday Evening
Price is sitting in the office of a very powerful businessman and two of his associates in downtown Philadelphia. Apparently these men are in the beverage industry and they want to market a brand new drink with Price as the spokesperson. Price mulls it over and stands up with his hand extended. The businesspeople seem ecstatic and stand up to shake his hand. Price pulls his hand back and bitch slaps the guy in the face.
Price: "You can't buy my name for that kind of cash. You want the name of a winner on your drink then pay me like a real winner."
Price leaves the room and walks off to his rental car, leaving a group of stunned executives to try and gain their wits. Inside of the car Price is laughing his ass off at the looks on those jackasses faces. He never had any intention of letting them market his name but he thought he'd have a little fun on what is normally such a boring day of the week.
Thursday Morning
Price is at his home lounging on the couch watching TV as he waits for Hank Brown to show up for yet another lame interview. On the TV ESPN analysts are discussing the Phillies win in Game 1 of the World Series over the Yankees. Price's phone vibrates and it's a message from Lerch. Apparently Brown is too wrapped up to come today so the interview has been moved to tomorrow. Price couldn't care less and just goes back to watching TV. After a short while Price ends up falling asleep and begins dreaming.
Dream Sequence
Price is inside of the ring with Steve Carr and is dominating the match. The crowd is heavily booing Price as he applies the Lockdown on Carr. Carr has no choice but to begin tapping...but there is no referee. Carr is tapping wildly but with no referee Price refuses to let up, instead choosing to only apply more and more pressure until finally Carr's eyes roll back into his head and he goes limp in Price's arms. Price finally releases the hold but chooses to continue the attack. Price lifts him to his feet and kicks him in the stomach before dropping him to his feet with the Busted Grill. Price gets up and rolls out of the ring only to grab a nearby folding chair from beside the announcer's table. As the camera follows Price it becomes clear that not only is there no referee but there is no crowd or announcers either. In fact the entire arena is empty except for Price, Carr and the camera person. Price gets back into the ring, chair in hand, and opens it up before setting it down in the center of the ring. Price grabs Carr and lifts him up to his feet. Price slaps him hard across the face and then kicks him in the stomach. Price grabs Carr's head and pulls it into a double arm DDT hold before lifting him straight up and executing a Kiladelphia Driver onto the opened folding chair. The chair breaks on impact and Carr is unconscious and lying on the mat with blood coming from the corners of his mouth and his forehead.
Price suddenly wakes up and begins looking around at his surrounding.
Price: "Wow that dream was so real. It felt like I was really there doing that to Steve Carr. Oh well I guess I'll just have to remember those exact events for this Monday."
Thursday Night
Price is out at a Bar and Grill having himself a nice relaxing night before he starts to prepare for his flight out to Slam. He's sitting in a booth by himself, loosened up for once, drinking a beer while he waits for his steak to arrive. While he sits there he notices a beautiful young brunette in a red dress sitting by herself drinking some fruity drink. Currently this young lady is eying him up and Price smiles at her and she smiles back. He motions for him to join her and she obliges. As the two begin to talk Price learns that this young lady's name is Shannan. Price's food arrives but he barely notices it. The waitress who brought it, who had also been trying to flirt with Price, looks rather pissed at the girl who Price is now talking to. A short while later Price and the girl get up and leave the restaurant, with the check and a rather large tip sitting beside a plate of food that was never touched. Price opens the car door for the young lady and she gets in. Price gets in the driver's seat and the two take off towards Price's home.
Later on Thursday Night/Early Friday Morning
Price is in the shower rinsing off a considerable amount of sweat and he looks rather tired. Once he's done, he puts on a pair of basketball shorts and walks through his room and out the door into the hallway. He walks very quietly so that he doesn't wake up his company, and heads downstairs and into the kitchen. After grabbing himself a beer Price sits down on the couch and flips on the TV with the volume turned down low. Price eventually ends up falling asleep and once again begins to dream
Dream Sequence
Price is inside of a WCF ring with Steve Carr only this Steve Carr is an old, decrepit man that can barely move around the ring. Price is able to knock Carr to the ground with a big kick to the leg but the leg suddenly turns to dust. Carr is down and Price runs in with the Hit and Run. Price's foot makes contact with the side of Carr's head and it also instantly turns to dust. Price stares at the remains of Carr and the dust around them, and smirks. He rolls out of the ring and lifts up the apron. He reaches under and pulls out a black bag before climbing back in. Price stands over the dusty, broken remains of Carr and opens the bag and pulls out a bottle of lighter fluid and a book of matches. Price throws away the bag and begins squirting the fluid all over the dust and remaining body parts. Once the bottle is empty Price steps back, lights a match, and throws it onto the pile. The pile instantly catches fire and the dust is soon mixed with the ashes. Price waits several moments as the fire burns itself out and then climbs the turnbuckle. He pauses, closes his eyes, and then executes a moonsault where it appears he is moving in slow motion. When Price lands, he lands on top of the ashes and a phantom pin fall is counted as a bell rings somewhere.
Price is awoken by the sound of his cell phone ringing. He opens it and sees that it's one of his friends and one of their random drunk calls. He ignores it and walks back upstairs so that he continue to be a good host to his company. As he walks up the stairs he thinks about the dream that he just had. He figures that the broken down, old, dusty Carr was a symbol of what the once great wrestler has become as of late. With the exception of the occasional brawl Carr has done nothing of real importance so that's what the easy victory had to mean. Price smiles at the fact that he has now had two dreams that show him dominating and thinks he should maybe consider working as a psychic. Price thinks about his classic car and his other personal property that Carr helped to destroy as of late and decides that whatever happens to Carr at Slam, he deserved it. Carr needs to learn that you do not fuck with Jay Price, because Jay Price will fuck with you right back and you will not like the end result. Guaranteed.
