(The scene fades into...well...nothing. The scene stays black as a disembodied voice speaks.)
Voice: Today's world of wrestling is a dim one. It is no longer about the competitor or the champion, but more about the love triangle or the secret past of a top star. In this dark and timely hour, full of retards, undead, and degenerates, things look like they are at their worst. However, there is a bright light which shines down onto the land that we know as professional wrestling. There is a ray of hope that the sport will go back to who is the best in the ring. This shining star in the wasteland of wrestling is none other than the man known only as...Beyond.
(A single solitary spotlight comes on, hitting Beyond standing in the center of a wrestling ring. He has his wrestling gear on and is looking straight into the camera.)
Beyond: I'm here today to explain some things. See, there are some people out there who still don't know who I am. Take Twister for instance. He is going on more about a beat up car more than he is about a wrestling match against me. He needs to get serious. He needs to get his head out of his delusions. He must have forgotten how close he was to getting locked in the Limit Breaker last time we met. One more split second and it would have been locked in fully, end of match, I win. However, thanks to a little involvement of the true loser of that match, Twister was able to gain the big V. If there is one thing that match proved, it's that Twister knows when to jump at an opprotunity.
(Beyond walks over to one of the turnbuckles and leans on it, still talking.)
Beyond: After the match, I got a little mad. I mean, if something that mattered deeply to you was snatched away from you by a crook, wouldn't you strike back? Can any of the fans at home really blame me? I think not. So, anyways, I attack Twister for stealing from me. Out of nowhere comes J-X, like a stupid little kid, sticking his nose into someone else's business. I didn't ask him to be there, and from what Twister has claimed, either did he. So, why did J-X come down? I believe that he saw me in that match and thought 'This guy is good. Maybe, just maybe, if my debut match is against him, and I pull off an upset, that will set me!' Sorry to say, J-X was wrong. He got what he had coming to him and it was rather academic, a simple three count after I hit the Downward Spiral. However, after the match, I suffered a Twisted Kick.
(Beyond reaches up and rubs his jaw in mock pain.)
Beyond: Oh, how much that hurt. As you all saw last week, Twister came running down and jumped me after my match with J-X. Why in the world would he do something like that? It's like taking a loaded gun to your head. I think that he let his two wins get to his head, thought maybe he was infact the real deal. I hate to break the news to you Twister, but you do not stand a chance in a straight one on one match against me. I am simply a better wrestler than you. If you were able to graduate from wrestling high school, IF that, then I would easily have my Masters in chain wrestling, Masters in striking, and a Doctorate in submissions.
(Beyond climbs the turnbuckle and sits on the edge of it, facing the camera still.)
Beyond: At Aftermath, I am going to take Twister to a new plain of existance when it comes to wrestling. I will once and for all prove who would have really won that battle royal. Mark my words, Twister will be laying on the mat by the end of the match. And J-X, if you feel the need to get involved as well, I'm going to keep my eyes out for you too if you want a second helping from last week.
(The spotlight quickly shuts off, leaving complete darkness. A logo for the WCF and the Aftermath PPV fade in. The disembodied voice speaks again.)
Voice: And those were the words of the new hope of wrestling. He has a plan and won't stop until he achieves it. Only time will tell whether his goals will come to fruition or not. Order Aftermath tonight to find out, on Pay-Per-View.
(The logo fades away to blackness.)
