(A Lincoln Town Car pulls into the arena parking garage. It pulls up the large bay door and stops. The trucks of the car opens and a man wearing a black tuxedo gets out of the driver’s side door and precedes around to the trunk of the car. He pulls out a black rolling suitcase, the goes to the back passenger door. He opens and the door and Shaun Sexton emerges from the door. The man hands Sexton the bag and he begin to roll the bag as he walks into the arena. Once inside the arena, he shakes hands with a few members of the WCF Staff and then walks down a long hallway toward his locker room. Shaun stops at his locker room door, there is a sign that reads ‘Shaun Sexton: WCF Television Champion’. Shaun takes a second to read the sign and then nods before entering the room. Once inside of the locker room, Shaun places his bag down on bench. He unzips the bag, the bag is revealed to hold Shaun Sexton’s gear and the WCF Television Title.)
Shaun Sexton: Aftermath, the big show after Explosion. The show where all the dust has settled and now everything lies in ruins. Aftermath, the show where Shaun Sexton will face the last two WCF World Champions. Aftermath, the show where two FORMER WCF World Champions will try to take my WCF Television Championship away. When Aftermath is all over what exactly will the outcome be? Who will stand in the ring with their hand raised in victory? That is the question I have been hearing for the last two weeks. So for everyone who thinks they have the answer, let me first present my answer to the question.
Tonight I step into the ring with two guys who are have been to the very top of the WCF mountain. They understand what it is like to be a champion. They understand what it is like to have the gold around your waist as you walk down the ring. But there is one thing that they understand that I still have yet to figure out. They understand what is like to lose their championship, but I on the other hand still do not understand that concept. In fact I think it was Bobby Cairo who gained this ever important knowledge when he lost the WCF Championship to JJ Biggs. And then it was JJ Biggs who gained this knowledge when he lost the title to Torture. Do you guys have a problem or something, I mean it seems to me that you want to hold on to your title, it means more money, more women, and more prestige, but maybe that’s just me, maybe I just want those things that not you guys. Maybe I am just the who doesn’t understand this business yet, wait who I am kidding I am the champ here not you guys.
For the past month, you two have been at each others throats. You have beat each other up, have been the guest referee in each others matches, and I get the feeling that there is some unfinished business between the two of you. But through that past month it seems to me that you two have forgotten that I was even involved in this match tonight. It seems that you two have forgotten that I even exist. Hey correct me if I am wrong but I am in this match too. If want me to step aside and let the two of you beat the hell out of each other, great but just remember when one of you gets your shoulders counted to the mat, that my friends means I win and you lose.
For the past month all I have heard is Shaun do you think you can compete? Especially for the last week all I have heard is Shaun do you think that Bobby and JJ are training and are you training enough to beat them? And I am sick and tired of hearing it. I think that ever since I arrived in the WCF no one has given me a chance. No one thought I would even last here. But I think that I shown that I belong in this company, and I think that my doubters have been proven wrong time and time again. So they want to doubt me again, hey that is nothing new. It isn’t the first time that they have doubted me and I am sure that it won’t be the last. Of course I have trained for this match. And of course the other two losers in this match have been training. You train for every match. I mean sure some people like to get tennis balls shot at them, but hey whatever floats your boat.
I mean come on JJ Biggs I am sure that you can still reach down deep into your soul and pull out that Championship form. JJ I am glad to see that worked on your speed and quickness. I think that you are going to need every amount of speed and quickness that you have. I’m glad to see that you and your butt buddy think that you are ready to face the SHUGGAH. I’m glad you think that moves are weak, because I think if you ask anyone else I think you will see that they are just about as devastating as anyone else’s. But maybe you are superman and then you just use your awesome superhuman strength to take the pain and then you could fly around to get out of the way of my weak blows. Sorry I guess that won’t work because obviously you aren’t superman or you wouldn’t have lost your World Title. Bobby Cairo I hope that you have been working hard. I hope you have been watching tape. I hope you don’t underestimate me like someone else in this match. I hope you are too focused on your boy JJ. I hope you are prepared for one the hardest matches of your career.
(Shaun picks up the WCF Television Title out of his bag and places it on his shoulder.)
SS: Boys, tonight it goes down like this. Three of us will walk down to the ring to face each other for the Television Title. One of us will walk out with the Television Title and I can promise you that it will be the person that walks in with it will also walk out with it. Because unlike the two of you I refuse to understand the concept of losing a title. Aftermath just got a little sweeter because the SHUGGAH is retaining his title.
(Shaun turns away from the camera and sits on the bench. He places the belt down in his bag. He pulls out his gear for the night and the scene fades to black.)
