Giant Best Buy sign. It looks pretty decent, the outside of the entertainment store that is. Really clean, quite a few people walking in or out of the place seeing as how college has once again started a few weeks back. Walking into the Best Buy, holding hands happens to be Craig Jacobs and Alexis Wilson. Both of them are wearing jeans and sneakers. However, Craig only has on a grey Reebok t-shirt while Alexis has a Killswitch Engage hoodie on. The guy at the front of the store nods at the both of them. Craig nods back for himself and Alexis. He takes a look over at Alexis, smile on his face.
Craig Jacobs: I love that hoodie on you.
Alexis takes a moment to think about it before realizing what she has on. She giggles before nodding her head.
Alexis Wilson: Yeah, such a great band.
Craig Jacobs: Obvious statement aside, I love that you love the same music I do.
Alexis Wilson: It is pretty great really. Can't wait until next Tuesday!
Craig nods his head, agreeing with his girl.
Craig Jacobs: New Hatebreed! I can't friggin' wait either. Should be completely awesome.
Alexis Wilson: Well it is Hatebreed. They have a no suck clause for their albums, I swear.
They begin their walk towards the DVD section ironically. Since its Tuesday, they go right for the new release section. Both of them look over the new selections not really finding anything worth while.
Alexis Wilson: Is it me or have movies sucked really badly lately?
Craig Jacobs: Its not you, not at all. They just rush them it seems anymore.
Alexis Wilson: Not too mention the horrible leads they get for some movies.
Craig Jacobs: Like that one whore they got to star in that Body movie. I think looking at a picture of her gave me crabs.
Alexis blurts out laughing very hard. She bends over, trying to calm down, Craig patting her back.
Craig Jacobs: It wasn't that funny. Christ...
Alexis Wilson: Still, it just struck me in a really funny manner.
The laughter fades before they start their walk to the video games. On a huge HDTV is a set up of the newest Madden game. Its on the pause screen due to some kid having to leave in the middle of a game probably. Craig looks at the display for Madden, eyeing the price.
Alexis Wilson: No, we agreed to get college instead. We don't need two football games and you know I love college more then pro.
Craig Jacobs: I know but its not like we're broke anymore.
Alexis Wilson: So just because you have a good job we can piss away the money on tons of video games? Please, after all the fun you made of Adam for doing the exact same thing for years, it'd be very hyprocritical of you!
Slowly Craig puts the game back on the shelf, letting her words ring true into his head.
Craig Jacobs: Yeah, you're right. We need a newer car a lot worse then a game or two don't we?
Alexis Wilson: Now that's how to be responsible. At least we don't have to go to Adam's house to play current gen games anymore.
Craig Jacobs: It is great. Always thought he was gonna rape someone.
Alexis Wilson: Remember the night Troy caught him looking at the dildos at the Mini Cinema up in Dodge?
With a smile on his face, Craig nods his head. Boy he thought they were going to die that night along Troy.
Craig Jacobs: So how about we blow Best Buy and head to a dealership dude.
Alexis Wilson: Dude my dad owns a dealership dude.
Both quickly laugh at their Aqua Teen Hunger Force reference. Good ole Frat Aliens episode.
Alexis Wilson: Well I want to look for a digital camera before we go car hunting.
Craig Jacobs: That's fine. I'll be looking around here for a while.
Alexis kisses him on the cheek before walking off to the camera. Craig glances over some of the cheaper 360 games, looking for something fun. Suddenly an explosion of sound comes from one of his jeans pockets. Craig reaches in and pulls out a cell phone, pressing a button.
Craig Jacobs: Hey dad, what's up?
...
Craig Jacobs: How did that happen?
...
Craig Jacobs: You have to be fucking with me. We just got alone finally and its going great...
...
Craig Jacobs: Yeah, I understand.
...
Craig Jacobs: See you tomorrow. Bye.
With a near disgusted look on his face, Craig shoves his phone back into his pocket and heads for the cameras. Alexis has her eye on one of them that's hooked up to a large monitor. Craig can see himself walking towards his long time girlfriend with that same look. She sets the camera down, a little confused.
Alexis Wilson: What's wrong?
Craig Jacobs: How much do you love me?
Alexis Wilson: Quite a bit. Why?
He inhales, trying to figure out the best way to say this.
Craig Jacobs: I got some bad news. My mom and dad are being forced to move out. We're the only place around for 'em...
Alexis blinks a couple of times before playfully punching Craig in the arm.
Alexis Wilson: Good joke. Nearly had me.
Craig Jacobs: I'm serious. Their funds are getting cut in half for some reason.
Now she takes note of the look on his face, knowing he's not joking with her.
Alexis Wilson: But... but we just moved out and...
Craig Jacobs: I know but at least we have a locking door now for our bedroom. Thankfully we got that two bedroom apartment so it won't be quite as bad.
Alexis Wilson: Yeah... Just really... Why...
Alexis can't think of what words to use before she throws her hands up into the air, frustrated. Who can really blame her?
Craig Jacobs: I know its crap that they're moving in with us now but there are a few good things about it. We won't have to worry about a break in as much with them there while we're on the road. They can make sure the cat stays fed and all that sort of thing. Sure it'll be a pain in the ass when we're home but while we're gone, its to our benefit more then anything.
He keeps his eyes on her, waiting for Alexis' next reaction. She exhales before glancing at his face.
Alexis Wilson: Suppose you're right. I mean they did let me move in when my parents died during high school so I could stay with you. It was ultra awesome so I guess this is just the way I'm suppose to repay their huge favor.
Craig Jacobs: That's why I love you. You're so kind.
Alexis grins for a moment before her attention snaps back to the camera.
Alexis Wilson: Oh so this camera here would be perfect for us. Not really too expensive but its not cheap trash either.
Craig listens to his love continue on with telling him all about the camera, not really caring. What he does care about more then he'll ever let on now is the upcoming War match in WCF. Sure he's basically a rookie but a good showing and he knows that he'll stock will rise a little more. Three matches and he hasn't been pinned yet. Unless he wins at War, though, that'll change for sure. No matter, he'll give War his best effort, to improve his ranking in the eyes of his peers, the fans, his love but perhaps most importantly, the front office...
