The sun is blazing down on the crisp sand at Miami Beach. There are hundreds of people tanning, swimming, eating, sleeping, and all of that shit. The sun is glistening off of the top of the water. Saying that it's a beautiful day would be an understatement.
Amongst the people; JJ Biggs and Jake Hudson are enjoying the gorgeous day, as well. They are sitting under a mammoth umbrella in a couple of lawn chairs. JJ Biggs is wearing a Hawaiian shirt, a pair of khaki shorts. Jake Hudson is wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of khaki shorts. JJ Biggs is holding his WCF World Championship belt.
JJ Biggs: Torture, huh?
Jake Hudson: Yeah. But I don't want you thinking ahead. You don't have to defend the belt until Explosion and you have Brad Wallace at Slam this week.
JJ Biggs: I know. I was just wondering why they would put me in a match with somebody like Torture. I can't give the fans a good show when I will be the one that is carrying the match.
Jake Hudson: Good show? You're the champ! Who cares if the fans like your performance in the ring. The only thing that matters is that the gold belongs to you and they cannot change that.
JJ Biggs: Yeah.
JJ leans forward and he gets a Budweiser out of the cooler. He lays the belt in his lap and he takes the cap off of the beer and he chucks it out into the sand. He takes a drink from the contents.
Jake Hudson: Back onto the topic of Brad Wallace -- you've had your fair share of matches against this man. I believe you've defeated him three or four times and only lost once. One of those victories won you the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
JJ Biggs: I know and that is why I am not worrying about this match. I figure I'll enjoy the beach today and tomorrow I'll go to the gym for a quick training session. Afterwards, we can get on the plane and head to the location for Slam.
Jake Hudson: Sounds good. What are your plans for next week, champ?
JJ Biggs: Plans? What are you talking about, Jake? We stick to the same schedule. I am not going to stop training, studying my opponents, and doing everything I can to improve in the ring all because I am the champ. Bobby Cairo let this belt go to his head and now he is stuck fighting Joey Lights. I am going to continue to improve in the ring so that I can keep this belt in my possession for a long time coming.
Jake Hudson: Sounds good to me.
JJ Biggs takes another long drink from his bottle of Budweiser. He turns his attention elsewhere as he looks at the water. The small waves are washing ashore as a few kids sit in the sand allowing the waves to run over them. JJ looks back at Jake and then he rises up from his chair. He stretches and he hands the belt to Jake.
JJ Biggs: I'm going to go for a swim.
Jake Hudson: What? You're not going to change or anything?
JJ Biggs: Nope.
Jake Hudson: Okay. I'm going to stay here and get drunk, then.
JJ nods and he starts walking towards the water. Jake shrugs and he pulls a Budweiser out of the cooler. He opens it and he takes a drink as the scene fades to black.
