*There's an almost orchestral hum of feedback over the speakers. The lights throughout the arena rise to blinding levels. It's an actual whiteout. An eerie sounding piano begins to play just a few notes. A few moments later it's bass notes start playing and a drum starts ticking along. Shortly after the drums begin playing properly. A guitar suddenly cuts in a couple of times as the lights drop suddenly like a power cut. Then everything kicks off together and an explosion of white fireworks explodes about the tron as out onto the stage runs a man dressed in blue jeans and a teal t-shirt with a navy blue suit jacket. He jumps in the air and spins around greeting his massive fanbase. Above him the tron shows off just who he is. The man looks up and smiles as he looks at it.*

*As the lyrics for the first verse of What I've Done by Linkin Park are sang, Dave Holland goes to one side of the stage, hyping up that part of the crowd. He then gives a big ol' thumbs up to them before returning to the other side of the stage and doing the same there. The crowd are chanting furiously over the song but can barely be heard. Dave likes his music loud.*
*Dave makes his way to the top of the ramp during the refrain at the end of the verse. As the chorus kicks off a huge ticker tape explosion goes off above the stage. It flitters about the entire crowd though.*
*Dave skips down the ramp sideways facing the crowd on one side, hi fiving every single hand he can reach. About a third of the way down he switches sides but does the same thing.
During the instrumental section Dave slides into the ring with a huge charge. He jumps up and looks around quickly.*
*He calms down as the music fades out and he waits for the right moment to begin speaking into his microphone that he brought with him.*

Dave: Okay... So how's everyone doing out there in fansville?! I'm guessing that, since you're here waiting anxiously for the build up to this weekend's pay per view, that you all caught Sunday Slam am I right?
*Crowd all shout back 'Right'*
Dave: Right. Then you will have seen that on Sunday.. in the very first match of the night, arguably the second most important of them all behind the main event alone... In that match you would have seen three men walk into that ring. You would have seen two men of reasonable quality with ambition and admirable talent walk in... and while they were busy setting up.. you may not have noticed or even recognised the third man to enter the ring. This man he's cool, he's calm, he's collected and he's just waiting for his moment in the sun to show every single sorry son of a bitch that would ever doubt him just what he's capable of. You will have seen the very future of this franchise and the very best the world of wrestling entertainment, nay, the modern world's answer to gladiatorial combat, has ever produced. You will have seen that match where it was only ever a two horse race at best and a one horse result... you will have seen the very first step taken by that one man towards being the man to beat above all others. You will have seen...... me.
*Crowd cheer as Dave's small 'me' proves quite the hit with them*
Dave: I promised you all a show of expert talent and timing with all the entertainment value of an epic blockbuster and I like to think I provided just that. However after that match I felt sorry that it was Perfecksion that I took down for the 1,2,3 where I would have liked to end Lance Ryan. But fair play to them both, they genuinely showed me all they had and were unfortunately found lacking. I commend the enthusiasm and drive and welcome any future opportunities to spar with them. But for now I have a slightly bigger situation at hand. I assume the vast majority of you are aware of this pay per view's card. For those who don't know you'll find it online of course but the match I'm most interested in is naturally my own. See, it seems this company's quite taken with placing me against not one... but two guys at once. Once again I find myself in a triple threat match. This time with another freshblood... and... how to put it... a veteran of this company. Namely Felipe Salarose... and none other than former world champion Epic.
*Mixed reaction though there are a slight overpowering of cheers for a former world champion*
Dave: Now.. I am well aware that this situation places me in somewhat of a pickle. Felipe is a mystery man that could be anything from terrible to godlike... and from his rap-sheet I'm almost certain of which he'll claim to be... whilst Epic is a proven competitor and definately the favourite to come out of this match with the win. Most men might think it too soon to be thrown against men of Epic's calibre. They might just focus on surviving the match and just not losing. I hear there's a survivor style thing going on on the online forums and I'm still on that damn island. Now while that might be an excellent strategy.. that's not the way Dave Holland plays. I play to win. Ever since my days as a child.. but that's a story for another time. I'm perfectly happy to face a former world champ. I'm perfectly happy to take that world champ and lay him flat for the 1,2,3 or even the rookie for that matter. I hope that if or when it happens it doesn't discourage the guy.. but I suppose that's all down to his strength of character.
*Dave paces the ring slightly for no reason other than to break the flow of his speaking*
Dave: The thing is... I also aim to represent you people. To be your eyes, ears, and avatar within the squared circle. If I fail to do you all justice I feel like I've let you down. Problem is that the more I look at this match.. the more and more I can't help but smile at the sheer quality of the three men walking in. Our styles are all very very similar, from a high flyer aspect through to a technical aspect we all have some measure of each other's skills. It's inevitable that this match will be one of the top matches at the whole pay per view. Take out either of my opponents and it would still be an excellent match! In times gone by after all of us have gone from the forefront of this industry, people will think back over each of our careers and say, "Hey.. remember that match he had at WCF?" Then their friend will say, "The triple threat with Dave Holland?" and then they'll say "Of course!". This I promise in the same way that every other wrestler promises just to win. I don't just win. I win in style. I win in style because I dedicate each and every perfect moment to each and every one of you out there. You make this industry what it is.. and without you... well.. what'd be the point.
*Cheers from the crowd again*
Dave: But now I'd like to take this moment to extend an invitation to Felipe and Epic. I like to size up the men I fight in this ring. I like to stare them square in the eyeballs and read the thoughts they never even knew they had. I'd like to see either or both of them right here, right now. No violent intent.. just some civil words and some poker-like analysation between good folk. So what do you say fellas. Am I going to have company or are you going to leave me hanging?
*Dave waits as the crowd begin chanting for whoever they've taken a shine to from Dave's competitors. Naturally the majority start chanting for Epic to come on out because they're glory supporters but there are a few who'd like to meet the new guy. Will anyone arrive? Fine out......... nowish*
