Hey guys.
So when all is said and done, I've decided not to go through with the tournament. I really wanted to, and I was excited, but I don't know, it just didn't get the enthusiasm and attention I was expecting or hoping for. I wasn't prepared for walking immediately back into "drama" and kinda forgot how this game can be sometimes.
So, that said, all of you that DID show up and were excited? It means the world to me. I really do miss doing this!, and I miss you guys. Spending hours putting together results (and then spending the next day feeling shitty I didn't finish, hah) was never the most fun thing in the world, but interacting with you guys was always the best part. The funny, non-dramatic, non-troublemaking ones, at least. And even them, sometimes.
I've joined Johnny Reb/Bonnie Blue's Alpha Pro Wrestling which I'm sure most of you already know about: alphaprowrestling.boards.net/ so if any of you have been out of the game and this rekindled you wanting to try, I'd love to see you there. But I don't have it in me to run this kind of tournament and not have it be as good as I'd want it to be. I respect the work everyone put in with the last shows before things shut down for good, and I don't want to ruin that by a lackluster tournament.
Maybe sometime we can try again!, so my apologies if you end up getting another message a year or two from now about another attempt.
