Hey there!! Its your friendly neighborhood schizo checking in one last time!!! Jayson Price, being the gentleman that he is, told me I could post this here! I know with the WCF closing that people might be looking for a new place to RP in. So, shameless advertisement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
Me and a few of my buddies (some of yall can guess who, Im sure lol) just started up Asylum Island Wrestling and were looking for RPers. We opened AIW about two weeks ago and just had our first show last week!! Right now we have about 8 guys on the roster so were looking for more.
AIW is different and unique from other feds. I know other feds have taken place on Islands, but not in the fashion that we did it. AIW consists of 5 different Islands all with their own unique climate, politics, terrain, businesses, vibe, ect ect....Your wrestler lives on one of the Islands that best suits his/her personality. You fight to become the champion of the Island that you live on, and that earns you a world title shot. Its a bi-weekly fed with a word limit on RPs, and we have a point based judging system that we believe keeps everything 100% fair.
I gave the Asylum Islands their very own rich history and tradition, and to me, that's what makes AIW unique from all the other feds that have taken place on Islands. There is a lot to read in the history section and even more to read in the Island descriptions; but everything on the islands connects to its history. I had a lot of fun creating this universe and the history of AIW. This is very storylined based fed, and I still have some tweaking to do with the history and current Island details.
If you have no interest in joining, at least check it out! I like to believe that we created something different and unique with the AIW. Were working on getting our own site and right now were partnered up with the XHF network and running our shows through their site.
With all that said, I really hate to see this place close. I wasn't here for long but this will always be one of the places that I enjoyed most because the competition was outstanding and the OOC forums were always active! Wishing all you guys the best and hope to see some of you in the AIW.
