(Ooc: Friday deadline threw me off and I worked too hard to get an rp together, not to post it. So you will still get my work!)
A dark night sky is flickered to life by a swarm of dancing fireflies that slowly venture along the edge of a familiar lake. Boarded up cabins that have long since been forgotten are lined up to the left and a rec hall/main house stands to the right. The sound of a car engine can be heard pulling up to the lake and on arrival it idles for a few seconds. The car is a black 1967 Chevy Impala and the owner of said vehicle is none other than The Plague himself, Kevin Bishop. Kevin kills the engine and gets out of the car, he overlooks the lake before taking a seat resting against the hood of his baby. Kevin still enjoys wearing his man in black, Johnny Cash-esque attire with the black slacks and black button up shirt. He lowers his head for a moment before returning his gaze to the lake.

They say humans leave marks on places in this world and it's always the biggest mark when wrapped in tragedy. The past of humanity is filled with events that stand out in our history to back the claim. Hiroshima has permanent shadows that stand firm to remind everyone of a time where humanity had too much power and chose to use it poorly. Looking at the remains of something that was once beautiful and vibrant, I find myself relating to the men who made the decision to use their power to leave a black mark on our past… My actions led to the demise of this camp, my friends, the people who turned to me to lead them, and everyone else with whom my message reached.
Bishop watches a ripple in the lake reverberate through the water and bounce against the shore.
(Kevin Bishop)
These waters… no matter how tainted they are, just like the WCF, pulls me back in with its siren call. I thought I moved on from its toxic world and it's infuriating pot stirrers. When I first stepped foot in WCF, I had one goal in mind and that was to kill the company the tyrant Seth Lerch held so dear. I was to be The True Plague of WCF and purify the industry… Now here we stand with so many companies closing their doors and new ones opening in their wake… The juggernaut known as World Championship Federation finally bends the knee and succumbs to its overdue defeat. It falls right in line with the likes of UCI and NBW, only to hide its eyes from the rise of a younger, faster model, in Action Wrestling.
Kevin smirks softly followed by a simple “hymph”.
(Kevin Bishop)
That's the company who respected me and my Brotherhood enough to let us put on a show of shows in the name of The Brotherhood and our Betterment movement. While WCF was handing its virtues over to Singh and the remaining idiots who were stuck spinning their wheels trying to get traction in the Price Era… AW let The Brotherhood write it's own final chapter to close the book for good...
Kevin breaks his gaze at the water and looks to the godlike camera.
(Kevin Bishop)
But what can I really say about where I have gone since UCI closed and that AW special? I mean i had a decent showing at the year before last’s, WAR? But honestly not a lot since then... I put my focus in venturing to indy shows, random conventions, and I've done everything i possibly could to bury my past… That dark permanent shadow that stains my soul and everything i stand for… My mission was simple in the beginning and I did what was best for my brothers and sisters… I gave them shelter, i gave them food, and i taught them how to live off the land in our community. Be it at the farm or even here at this lake… The darkness was still destined to take form and rip us limb from limb…
Kevin's eyes return to the lake and for a quick second his reflection shows his face covered in his Creeping Death face paint, then it disappears.
(Kevin Bishop)
I wish I could say all of this happened because I gave in to being the puppet to The Creeping Death… I wish I can blame all of the tragic events and the shortcomings on him, but deep, deep down we all know I can't. Because my entire career has been ran over by so many variables that every opponent I have squared off with has been able to dismantle me to the very bare bones verbally… The Creeping Death was suppose to be the extra shove I needed to reach the pinnacle… The very peak of my being and what did I do with it? I left WCF and I won the UCI World title… I had legit battles with Bonnie Blue, Alex Richards, Shadowlove, and ZMac… But it wasn't WCF was it? I had to leave to find success… That's just it, isn't it? The confusing part that numbs the mind of yours truly…
Bish looks to the godlike camera.
(Kevin Bishop)
Why would I care about reaching the top of WCF when I have been waiting for this moment my entire WCF career? I paraded around for The People as their champion and all the while my true mission against Seth Lerch was pushed aside. Speaks of my weakness for gold and accolades… Now I sit here plotting my final match in a WCF ring and I ask myself what do I want out of it? Will I feel whole once that final bell rings and the lights are turned off in the arena… Will I finally feel like my journey has come to it's joyful end?
A familiar voice comes from behind catching Kevin's attention.
(Karma Bishop)
Honey, you've given a lifetime away to this industry and we both know this match won't fulfill your thirst. I for one dont think Bonnie Blue and that Crow McMorris is the right fit for your final WCF match… I would've much rather seen you go to war with Cory Black, that has big match implications for sure.
Karma walks in between Kevin and the lake, wearing a tight in the right places black dress, her hair cut up in dark pixie style.
(Kevin Bishop)
As much as I'd love to fight Cory Black, he is aiming to finish the job I always wanted to do… He has Seth Lerch in the final match of the 2nd night and I have no doubt he'll drive the final nail in his coffin.
Karma runs a single finger along Kevin’s right shoulder and then traces a circle.
(Karma Bishop)
There has always been an unspoken connection between you and Cory Black, it was more than just The Creeping Death… Deep inside the both you, I have witnessed two men cut from the same cloth who were hungry to be the best in this industry and in this life… You may be blind to it, Kev, but you are worthy of the same kind of career that Cory Black has successfully hung his Crown on. This may be your final match in this god awful company but it doesn't have to be your final match.
Kevin shrugs and Karma gets light weight ticked and she slugs him in the same shoulder she was just flirtatious towards.
(Kevin Bishop)
The fuck was that for?
(Karma Bishop)
Do you hear what I'm trying to say to you? You're not dead! You sure as hell aren't retired, no matter how much Shadowlove claims it! You have this battle between these twisted scifi freaks, one who won't die and the other who's given her snatch to father time so many times I've last track.
(Kevin Bishop)
Crow was the 1st ever UCI World champion, honey and Bonnie Blue has her own accolades as well… They're not slouches.
Karma rolls her eyes.
(Karma Bishop)
That tart Bonnie is a selfish bitch who made even The Guardians all about her. Even your never ending battle has nothing to do with you. She's a glory hound who can't fix enough bad shit in her personal timeline to make herself a credible competitor.
Kevin goes to speak and Karma cuts him off.
(Karma Bishop)
No you had your chance and I have a lot of bad blood to answer for… If Bonnie Blue was so mighty and could fix all the world's problems in time… Why couldn't she stop me from saying yes to the Dark Queen and you from saying yes to The Creeping Death? Huh? She could've saved The Brotherhood and so many more innocent people… But no it wasn't going to be about her, would it have been? So she instead chooses to stumble through the motions and act like she's still the hero that use to be a true Guardian member, but we all know… She's NOT our hero.
Kevin nods along.
(Kevin Bishop)
It's truly haunting how you speak so truthfully… Even about your own darkness in time. Bonnie Blue isn't the hero of this story and this match isn't even a little bit about her. She knows it and Crow knows it too. We all were big fish in UCI, but that place was laid to rest already… This is WCF and this is the inevitable end for a company who outlived its life expectancy. Now The Plague can walk away knowing it ended the way it should have…
Karma smiles and rubs Kevin’s shoulders.
(Karma Bishop)
The end of WCF will not be your end… This is merely the reemergence of The Plague… Rise up my love…
Karma smiles wide.
(Karma Bishop)
Rise up…
Our scene comes to end with the view of the lake and the sun slowly setting. We fade to black...
