To Everyone:
Sixteen months ago when Seth told me that he was going to have to step away from the Dub and close it down, I talked him out of it and convinced him to let me run the show so that we could keep it going. I did it because I love this place and, while it wasn't the very first fed that I was part of, almost 10 years ago it became like a second home to me. I've made plenty of close friends and good acquaintances over the years while getting to meet some interesting characters.
Which is what makes this post all that more hard to write.
For the last few weeks, heck the last few months really, we've been hurting really bad. Despite near daily recruiting efforts and talking with various people, we haven't had a new sign-up in what seems like forever. And while that doesn't always signal a decline, we've also lost a good number of people to real life events, which as unavoidable as it is, has left us in bad shape.
With all of that said, after spending a good amount of time thinking everything over, I've come to the decision that it's time to call it.
I don't want anyone to think that this was a rash decision, I've been weighing this for weeks now as I was watching how badly we were struggling to keep a roster, and finally it became just too much to ignore. I never wanted to see this place close, I wanted to see it succeed and go as long as possible, but we've reached that point.
To all of you that have stuck around for as long as you have, I thank you. There are some phenomenal writers here and I wish you the utmost best in wherever you land next.
To those who wrote matches and did other small things to help me out, I thank you as well. I couldn't have done this for as long as I have had it not been for your contributions. It was always a team effort to keep this place open and I had some of the best help I could have asked for.
And, lastly, I just want to tell you all that it's been an adventure doing this with you. I always wanted a chance to be the man behind the curtain and I don't regret taking this on or anything that's happened during my time in charge. You guys are like my weird, extended family and I'll keep the OOC board open so that we can keep in touch with each other.

From the roleplay styles at the top to the general focus and stress on cultivating OOC activity (a rare sight in the general landscape), WCF gave a lot of learning experiences to those of us who passed through. Both the ups and downs I feel taught a lot of us how to continue evolving. No focus on the bad times, only good vibes going forward. Here's to you, DubSeaEff.

I am sorry to hear that the team has arrived at this decision, but anything I can say is over my head.
I'll be the first one back on a show the moment the lights come back on, if that day arrives.
But suffice it to say if this really is it, then we had a hell of a run.
Just...never say never is all I'll say. I know we've been hurting right now, and maybe we just need to take a break from the grind, give people a chance to recover. Summer is coming up don't forget, and with people not having to worry about things like school those are often some of our hottest months.
But with that said, I fully understand if you think it's not sustainable at this point in time. But...I do think that we should keep an open mind. Maybe turn off the key in the engine but not set fire to the hood, ya know?
We've come back from worse.
That's about it. I know things seem hopeless in the moment, but never forget what made this place what it is today (not WAS, still is) and that's collective passion for something big.
(Promo mode activate) And Alex, don't think I've taken my eye off the ball either lol. It's always been my dream to hold that title, and neither hell nor high water will keep me from it forever. I'll wait as long as it takes (promo mode off).
But yeah, just reevaluate. Maybe we can use the down time to figure out a way to streamline the show-writing process and/or get in contact with folks who still have that spark. You never know.

Well this sucks. Near 40 years combined with CD price and I in this place. Sad, this is how the places closes, although, I'd assume for now?

So, I've only had two matches here, so I may not be the best person to throw any coins into the fountain... but I'm going to anyway. That being said, as much struggle as I've heard about with this fed, it's honestly a big shock to see the doors close. I honestly never thought I'd see the day. As small a part as I had in this fed, I ended up knowing many handlers from it, whether they were in other feds or from my very small time here. I honestly have to agree with Teo on this, though. You never know when the opportunity arrives to give this place another go. It's just that this isn't the time for that. From what I've heard, this fed was very consistent, even with all the crazy stories and the ups and downs. I don't know all the specifics. I don't know all the accuracies. However, what I do know is that this fed has had many great writers with fantastic minds and a love for this silly, but wonderful hobby that we all spend way more time than necessary getting into.
In the end though, a hobby is what this is, and real life has to come first. You guys had a great, long run, but if your real life causes you to not be able to run this fed any longer, then it's probably for the best. Best of luck to everyone here, and, maybe one day, we can see WCF open its doors once again. Until then...
Long live Wrestling Championship Federation!

Not making any promises...
But after talking it over with some others, I've come to realize that the Dub deserves a better sendoff than what it got. It deserves to go out with a bang. A show worthy of the nearly 20 year history of the fed.
Stay tuned.

Can’t believe this is happening. At least the OOC board will still be open to keep in touch. It was a pleasure working with all of you, I just wish that I could’ve done something memorable here. Corey, Jayson, Stephen and everyone else, thanks for opening up a new side of me that I never thought would come out. I became the person here that I would never become in real life. I became a badass. Thank you guys.

From the bottom of my heart I gotta say I respect the hell out of all of you for breathing life into WCF as long as you did. I am still forever grateful for you guys taking me in and letting me partake in the art of efeding again after being away for so long. You guys helped me get through a lot of personal shit as Kevin Bishop and you will forever be my dudes.
Thank you again!

Sorry to hear this guys about the closing of WCF, but understandable, given the activity here isn't as active as it was. A lot of history has made here (Including Samuel's first solo's title win) and other things in the years gone past with WCF.
I have found a new home already, when I return to fedding, being in a fed called X-treme Wrestling Federation where one staff member even said in the introduction I made a few mins ago any of you guys are welcome to join after one of them found out from me that this place has closed down.

Massive ups to Price for keeping the ship afloat for so long. The job was never easy but you did it for almost a year and half when no one else would. Thank you!!!
Thinking back on my initial run here will never not give me that warm nostalgia feeling. 2015 was one of the best years of my life thanks to this place and the people who were a part of it.
If this is it, it's a sad fucking day.

Hey everyone. This is hard to read. This place gave me some confidence to return to this game. Was it not for my matches with Bonnie, Singh, Dune, Slayer, etc I wouldn't be as confident in my writing.
Cassie (Lilianna/Estrella) and I wanna say thanks for the ride guys.
