Me and cliff went to the show. It was amazing.
They had an honor rumble featuring
Haku Minoro Suzuki Jushin thunder liger Great muta Among many more So cool to see
Ibushi and Naito was the match of the night by a mile.
Jay lethal hit a fan with a stack of crossed ladders during his match. -2 years ago I saw TKO Ryan, Vinnie Marseglia and Matt taven with about 40 other fans at a very small show in my hometown. They were very cool to me and cliff and even got us involved in the show as rowdy Kingdom fans. Now they’re main eventing the garden. Too awesome.
Enzo and vas’s of course if you haven’t heard yet. I don’t believe anything in wrestling is real but they didn’t show anything on the monitors and from what I understand no one talked about it on the show. From where I stood it looks real which was incredible to feel even if for a moment. The punches looked like they landed and they made it look like a real fight the whole time the rest of the guys went on with their celebration. I felt bad for theta champs but that’s business.
Okata spoke to us in English after the show. I hope the situation arises where I can see him again but I know it’s unlikely I will so it was meaningful to see the greatest in our generation.
Taka Mishonoku was Zach Savre Juniors mouthpiece.
I’m falling asleep. If you didn’t see it buy the show or steal it or whatever. It’s worth it for sure.

ROH stuff was the absolute drizzle shits save Bandito but NJPW side was A+ I agree. The ROH world championship match was great but, NJPW blew them out of the water, especially with Jay White vs Okada, and Guerrilas of Destiny’s match.

The women’s match was the worst. Two thumbs way down.
Main event was the best for me. I don’t watch NJPW and I even knew that Jay White should not have been the champ at this point.

I don’t watch NJPW and I even knew that Jay White should not have been the champ at this point. I respectfully disagree. Okada is one of the best wrestlers to ever step foot in wrestling, But Jay White, is a rising threat. He has the look, mic skills, charisma, gets natural heel heat, and has great wrestling skills. Jay White is definitely the future of NJPW and professional wrestling as a whole. Again, not trying to hate on Okada or you, but even though Jay White’s fresh and young, NJPW is definitely high on him, and as we have seen in the past with stars they build up, Jay White is definitely something special.

While I think Marty Scrull should've been the champion, not Matt Taven. I never even heard of Matt Taven, until recently. Why they put Matt instead of Marty as champion is beyond me. Marty is far superior to Matt is as a wrestler. Pisses me off that ROH still refuses to place the ROH title around Marty's waist.
If you take a close look at the growth of Jay White, you'd see why he became champion. A lot of people think Jay's too inexperienced to be an NJPW champion, but he has grown into this guy who's dominant and beating the top names.
Yeah, I enjoyed this event a lot. I skipped the women's match mainly cos I find women's wrestling boring to watch, but I enjoyed what I see. Except that Rush/Dalton Castle match was too short. Personally, Dalton Castle deserved better than a squash match on Rush. I even rate Dalton Castle better than Matt Taven as a wrestler too.

Marty is out the door to AEW sooner than later, can't slap a belt on him!

In my opinion, they should’ve let Jay Lethal retain. Jay Lethal has always been a front runner for the company, has great charisma, mic skills, and in ring talent. Marty is great, but we all know he’s going to be leaving when his contract expires to go to AEW, and Matt Taven, just sucks. Matt isn’t that good in the ring at all, and his promos seem cheesy and unnatural. Jay Lethal has also made the ROH TV championship more prestigious than the ROH title when he was holding it. He also became a double champion in ROH. ROH can be stupid sometimes.

It’s hard to believe that at one point ROH was cutting edge and widely praised. Now a lot of what I see is people shitting on it. I was a big ROH fan around 2011 but I got tired of Davey Richards and even Kevin Steen, who I love, was even becoming a little repetitive with all the Hardcore matches. I got turned off to it.

Jay lethal threw a stack of ladders on a fan which prompted a chant of ‘thats A lawsuit’ clap 5x
Matt taven is head of the kingdom. The kingdom is a hot stable and needs a champion to be taken seriously. They’re building up talent. This is a good thing.

There’s just something about the guy that makes me think “This guy?” Maybe it’s his face. He just looks like someone I shouldn’t take seriously.

Maybe it’s because his name rhymes with Maven. Or Raven. Anything with “-aven” at the end makes me run the other way.

Gemini, I understand what you’re saying, but Taven can’t be taken seriously. He also doesn’t need the ROH world title to be taken as a threat. He can win the TV Title and make it more prestigious than the Word Title, like other wrestlers do. Like Jay Lethal, The Miz, even Teo Blaze.
