My opinion: The whole "blog post as an RP" isn't anything new, of course. But what I liked about this one was that, of course, it was done from the perspective of a fan.. and besides that, that there were actually comments by other people that added to the whole story. That was really neat and creative.

Wow! Thank you, gentlemen! I'm glad I could freshen things up a little...

To be completely honest, I had tried this tactic elsewhere, mainly in response to seeing the tendency to do the blog RP's. I thought "Well, surely if wrestlers are blogging, their fans are, too...."

Of course originally, the author of the blog was a detractor of Johnny Reb. The inspiration to make him an actual fan instead was kind of a desperation move. I was lacking direction for a second RP this week, and it was a spur of the moment decision.

So I am overjoyed at the good reception, and in the spirit of trying to keep things entertaining, I'm going to try real hard not to overuse the technique.
