Slightly iconoclastic, I know. I tried to explore the work of Prof. William Klassen and Hugh Maccoby ('Judas: Betrayer or Friend of Jesus?' and 'Judas Iscariot and the Myth of Jewish Evil' respectively) through the lens of Jack of Blades. Of course that lens is quite cloudy and short-sighted so you kind of got this absurd, misjudged (and perhaps even slightly stunted) take on 'The Crucifixtion' story.
In this RP, I tried to explain events that have happened both IC and OOC (although rather obtusely with regards to the latter) so I hoped that got through.
Anyway, do what you do.

I personally had trouble acknowledging the recent events with Logan's character. (did one RP this week, the other was based off past events) An odd way to put this, the charade wasn't expected to fail or even succeed, only to just create some form of reaction. And it did. And rather it's safe to say or not, IT just doing simply that.. has kept me at a loss of words. Shocked, more or less.
Then JoB posts this RP which is completely based on the 'hot recent event'. I can only admire you for telling this story the way you have, because, before reading your RP, I know I couldn't have told this the way it should have been told and by you relating to the story of "'Judas" (do not know much about it, but for what you worked into the story I obviously got the jest of it) it really felt like you nailed what had to be said, for now, of course. Adding onto that.. it gave me relief, a fresh breath of air. You know, this HAD to be said/told.
Jack. You know I like your RP's. When you first came, it seemed like you and WBL were literally spamming the RP board.. (holy crap. this is starting to sound like an honorary Blades event) heh, so, I never really kept up with what you did. Laziness of the eyes. Anyway, I got to know you more, began to appreciate your work, went back and dug up your old RP's (didn't steal them, don't worry) and even appreciated you more and became a "JoB fanboy". So, basically, anything you come up with now, good or bad, I pretty much fangasm over. I'd say because of you and the way your RP's 'take it out there' at times, you inspired me to not only have Logan gain fifty pounds, job to people 80% of time, have total disregard for self, even take up the Joker character in another community, but, you inspired the infamous anal rapeage of Megan Kane.
I'm sober as a whistle. This just seemed like the appropriate time to not only comment about your latest RP, but just to comment about your work in general and the effect it's had on me. So.. I gasm for The Judas Syndrome and I'll gasm for the next. Thank you, Pete.

Ok, I know it's a little late to be responding to this, but I have only recently had the time and energy to give your RP the thorough reading it deserved.
I honestly think that might be the best RP I've ever read.
You, sir -- and I say this with all possible love, respect, and other happy-fuzzy emotions (as applicable) -- are completely insane. ;D
It's a rare thing when a person can write something that is both thought-provoking (and may inspire future philosophical debates,) and funny as hell. You have an exquisite sense of timing and rhythm that can only come from long familiarity with your character, and a hell of a lot of practice.
I only have one question now: May I bear your bastard-mutant love child?

Jack of Blades and Johnny Reb should have cyber sex, then make children.
Logan would obviously be an uncle, but I'd certainly like to have them on the holidays. Maybe adopt them? So I can teach them how to kill bad people for good reasons. Like the bad people that the law can't reach.
