I think it would be funny if we actually had contracts. Not for money but for, how long we “work” here, what our schedule can be like, you know basic stuff. I’m just throwing this out here as a possible idea in the future.

He put out a "leaked" document with people's salaries and whatever perks they had negotiated. It was fun. |

If I remember right, Teo was listed there as having one of the higher salaries on the roster lol, which is hilarious seeing as I always write him as sleeping in cheap motels and dive bars. Maybe he spends all his money on medical bills lol. |

Maybe he's just insanely frugal, Teo. I know it's reported that Ambrose is a "cheap" kinda guy despite making a lot.

Funny, my contract says $12 a show, half travel expenses covered, and I have to treat the roster to a Denny's breakfast buffet the next morning.
At least it did while I was here.

Everyone is paid no dimes. "Another day, another nickel." I kinda like where Odin is at, but that makes it complicated as well to draw borders and define status because people shoot up and down the card on a whim. Plus, legend status. Like, my account here is over eight freakin' years old now, but I've never once won the big one here. Still a legend? I'd like to think so, but I'd also like to think I've got more to do, but based on where mine and Rabid's tag matches have fallen on the card thanks to this tournament, we'd be in no higher than midcard otherwise, and IC, I'm pretty sure both of us would drop some SHIT about it. I know Speede has been already based on never getting more of a shot throughout this tournament, and that's what's pushing him. But let's be fair, there'd be a ton of argument where he, and a bunch of other guys would fall on this ladder of contracts. (For the record, the first little quote was the only thing particularly directed at you for the quote, Corey. The rest is a response to the thread in general. But I figured rather than spam up the thread and double-triple-however the fuck many posts, this would be easier.) |
