John Rabid is your quintessential English scoundrel. An immaculate, eternally twenty something looking cad with a penchant for callous behaviour and elaborate machinations.

Appearance // Attire:
John Rabid has a chiselled, muscular build. His long blonde and black locks (obviously dyed) flow down his six foot two frame. His wrists and hands are wrapped with thick back tape. A pair of silver and black PVC wrestling tights have a coiled serpent motif stencilled across the each thigh in a reflective, metallic silver. John has black knee pads and kick pads and boots. The kick-pads have a silver trim with the same silver serpent logo as before rendered across each pad.

While strutting to the ring, John has a black trench-coat with “The Ripper” stencilled across the back in silver. Often Rabid wears a set of silver and black aviator shades to complement his goth wasteland look while flicking a toothpick at the camera, hey Chico!

Entrance // Music:


“Death Breath - Toxic Avenger Remix” by Bring Me The Horizon hits as a huge pyrotechnic barrage explodes around the jumbotron. As the smoke clears, we see John Rabid standing tall; arms outstretched as he spins on the spot. Rabid struts down the ramp, snarling and gnashing his teeth at a stray cameraman as John's name appears on a Slam graphic. Meanwhile, Rabid's 'tron plays in the background; it's The Ripper hitting the Kingdom Destroyer on a cavalcade of doomed jobbers, this scene is intercut with footage of Lon Chaney in Tod Browning's "London After Midnight" (1927). Rabid reaches the ramp and climbs the turnbuckle, “smelling” the boo's from the crowd before taking off his black trench-coat and shades and waving his hapless opponent on with a cocky smirk on his face.

Style // Mindset:
John works a Japanese strong style of kicks and knees intermixed with European sensibilities to create a unique technical spine running through his attacks. Due to his rich well of influences, The Ripper has proved time and again to be elusive in the ring, able to counter and circumvent most assaults. John is also no slouch in the high flying department either; comfortable with diving off the top rope in spectacular fashion if such an option proves necessary to score a victory. He can also perform power moves that seem out of place for his weight-class, yet are possible due to his "strange linage". Consider him a technical high flyer, but with the ability to be as strong and as dominating as a heavyweight when needs must.
