I haven't caught it yet, but I probably will next week. I'm a sucker for true crime documentaries.

I heard there's also a movie coming starring Zac Efron as Ted Bundy. Not sure how I feel about a film, when the "real thing," aka Documentary, is so fascinating.

Zac Efron is a poor casting choice in my opinion. Clueless teenage girls are gonna go 'oh my gaaawwwd Ted Bundy is so hawt' because it's Zac-freaking-Efron. So that isn't great.

They could cast Bob Saget. He looks intellectual, he’s a good actor and he looks like Ted Bundy.

Thing is, Bundy being attractive (by the standards of that era) was a huge part of what he did. He wasn't like John Wayne Gacy or Ed Gein, he looked like the kind of guy you'd take home to meet mom and dad. And he was charming and smart as hell.
I mean I get not wanting to make a whole bunch of women thirsty for a killer (which speaks volumes about what women want...), but they went the right way with the casting.
The real conversation is when did Efron's mom bang Bundy because the resemblance is crazy.

I'll have to check that out tonight I've seen a few docs on Ted Bundy. What's crazy about Ted Bundy is in order to catch the Green River Killer the cops went to Bundy in order to get any new leads. Ted really wanted to be a part of the investigation. Call it more manipulation, or whatever you want. He definitely believed his own bull shit! So Ted told them he was probably revisiting the bodies and that's likely how they would catch him. But Ted probably never got credit for this for obvious reasons.
When they caught Gary Goodridge aka The Green River Killer as the newspaper had dubbed him; he had revealed that he did indeed revisit his victims bodies. Ted blamed pornography to an extent for why he did what he did.
On an totally unrelated note there is going to be a 2 hour special on Dennis Raider. The B.T.K. Killer. This son of a bitch killed in his youth, and then he changed his whole life. Was a model citizen, married with children, and hiding in church amongst everybody.
When they caught him after he'd been on the run for 40 years they showed him in court recounting his crimes, and he looked the part. He looked like the face of evil. Like he wanted to kill everybody in the court room. He recounted his crimes like reading off of a grocery list. He had no remorse, and reliving what he had done was probably the real thrill for him. His daughter will be narrating part of the special from the previews. B.T.K. taunted the police by sending them letters of what he had done. He never thought he'd get caught if he went under the radar but those letters he sent police were probably his down fall. B.T.K stood for Bind, Torture, Kill. Imagine being related to that type of monster.

On an unrelated note... Al Bundy > Ted Bundy > King Kong Bundy Fight me. Hey, did Ted Bundy ever bodyslam a little person at the biggest wrestling event of the year? ...I’m legitimately asking, I could see it, honestly.
