- Monday Morning. 10:34 AM. Fade in.
- It's a black back seat. Looks like comfy leather. Maybe, too comfy? Either way, the back window is tinted, and we can now see that this is the very back seat of a limo. Torture sits with his short hair gelled to lay forwards with the front spiked. Green Polo shirt with dark blue Jeans, with black dress boots. Sparkles from the pure ice around his wrist for a watch glistens into the camera. Necklace shines brighter than the sun right outside his tinted window. Limo is moving down the highway, destination? No clue. Torture doesn't look too happy, but he doesn't look sad neither. Just .. meh..
- The One and Only digs his hand into his left front pocket in his jeans and pulls out his cell phone. He dials and puts the same cell phone to his ear. Voice on the other end is heard.
Torture: Ms. Avery? Hey, this is Tort.
- The voice on the other end is an elderly woman.
Torture: Yeah, is Chris around? No? He's not?
- The woman explains.
Torture: No, I'm not in town right now. I'm away for some personal business, but tell him I get back home to Chicago tonight and I would like to talk to him about a few things..
- Torture looks out the window as she is heard through the cell phone.
Torture: Thanks Ms. Avery. Talk to you soon. Bye bye.
- Torture puts the cell phone back into his pocket as ye leans forward to yell something to the driver.
Torture: Johnson! This next exit.. then on your right hand side.
- The driver nods in agreement and takes the limo off of the highway onto the exit ramp. Torture, again, looks out the window as the car pulls up to what looks to be a huge field of green grass and a few trees.
Torture: This may take a while so you can turn off the car. I'll be back.
- Torture opens the back passenger side door. He steps out slowly. Feeling the cool breeze on the Summer morning. Torture closes the door behind him slowly, as the limos engine is turned off. Torture walks up the short grassy field a bit. He walks underneath a tree. The grass he stands on is actually up on a slanted hill. Looking down the slope is more than a handful of headstones. It is now crystal clear. Torture is at a cemetery. He walks down the slanted slope a bit, and is now walking through separated headstones. He begins to slow his pace down a bit as he comes up onto two important grave sites. Torture wipes his eyes as he bends down.
- The One and Only closes his eyes, and everything becomes still. The trees that surround the cemetery stop moving. The breeze is no longer. The Sun stops moving. The World stops turning. Tortures heart stops beating. Everything. Just. Stops.
- Torture looks at the headstone with Natasha's first name on it. Torture wipes his eyes once again.
Torture: I did almost everything I could for you. Never was there a day I woke up in the morning and thought about someone else other than you. I made sure your face and your voice was the last thing I heard before bed, and was the first thing I heard when I woke up in the morning. Sometimes... I still hear your voice... and every now and then... I see your face..
- His head leans forward into his hands. Tears hitting the grass below him.
Torture: I don't understand this world sometimes. I never understood how a beautiful girl like you with a beautiful son walked into my life. I didn't think I deserved it. I don't deserve it. You and I grew up totally different, yet, we understood each other. I loved you so hard and so much. I remember coming home to you for the first time when I was Hardcore Champion. Benjamin loved it. The greatest feeling from when I was wrestling, was just coming home to you guys knowing I had someone supporting me. Deep down, that was the best feeling someone could ever have.. and I had it..and I will always have it.
- He kneels up to his feet. Standing there looking at both headstones.
Torture: I'm real sorry I couldn't protect you on that day. Everything you guys ever wanted and needed, I would try my hardest to do. As a Husband and Father, I failed. That day you guys needed me. You guys wanted me. I was supposed to protect you. I couldn't. Oh, I should have been there. I should have been there to protect you guys! I regret it every single day! I will always regret... just not being there... I miss your faces.. they remind me of God. I love you guys so much. Hardest part about all of this... is.. it IS my fault. God damn it...
- The Wrestling Icon, himself, stands there looking down at what was a huge part of his life. Probably the only puzzle piece that fit. You know.. the one corner piece everyone tries to look for in a puzzle but can never find it? Probably because it was sold with a piece missing, or when someone opened up the box, a piece could have flown out and no one ever noticed. Or maybe you're just not looking hard enough. Which ever it is, Torture was looking at his puzzle piece.. and they could never be picked back up.. nor ever be put back together..
Torture: I love you guys so much, and I will see you guys one day. I promise that. For now.. it's back to what I was doing best, and loving every second of it. I have to live my life to the fullest. At the end of this wacky roller coaster, I will see you guys. Love.... Love you guys.
- Torture turns around very slowly. Looking hard into the distance. A toll'ing noise is heard. The camera turns to get his point of view. Beyond some trees up on a hill, is a stone bell tower. Torture notices the noise very well, and keeps looking up at it. The bell swinging back and forth.
Torture: Whose the bells.. tolling... for??
- Fade out.
