Wilds looks at his friend, a shy grin.
Wilds:
Look, Z. You know she loves you. Maybe she underestimates you at times. But you know her heart is in the right place.
The extraterrestrial being looks back at Wilds, scoffing. She turns away, visibly upset.
Zima’Ion:
I don't appreciate her… how do the humans say it?... making me seem childish?
Jaice Wilds:
Treating you like a child. I get you.
Zima’Ion:
I have given up so much for L. And yet, when all I want is to be able to fight by her side, she turns around and decides it's too dangerous for me. For me! After how many times I came to HER rescue!!
Wilds places a hand on Zima's shoulder. She takes a breath as he nods, standing.
Jaice Wilds:
Sometimes, we don't understand the motives behind people's actions. Other times, they don't see the potential within us. You'll show her what you're made of, Zim; and she'll realize that you're stronger than she knew. For now… just keep in contact from time to time so we at least know you're alive and kicking.
Zima stands, embracing her friend. She pulls back, mildly confused.
Zima'Ion:
Which reminds me… how exactly did you locate me to begin with?
Wilds chuckles, shaking his head. He looks up, a sly grin.
Jaice Wilds:
Let's just say that a good hunter always finds his target. Plus, I have friends in very lofty places.
Zima shrugs, the two parting ways. Jaice grabs his cell, pressing a few numbers.
Jaice Wilds:
Simon. Hey, thanks again for the loan. Hoppin’ in and bringing the chopper back now. No; no more leads on these masked douchebags. But I was wondering if it was connected to the Cage attack. That would be appreciated, thanks. All Hail.
Wilds slides into a helicopter, throwing his headset on and flipping a switch. The chopper lifts off the ground, Wilds taking off through the sky… as usual.

The following is a letter addressed to Teo Blaze; intercepted and published to the WCF website.
At this point, everyone and their brother knows how long I've been in the business. So I'll skip the veteran's spiel this round.
What I will say, however, is that in the time I've spent in this business, I have learned one thing above all else. Anyone can have a good night, anyone can have a bad night, anyone can topple or be toppled by another at any given time. Wins and losses can certainly amount to the luck one has on any given night. But respect? Respect is earned. Whether you earn that respect by climbing the ranks or simply never giving up in the face of adversity; whether it is beaten out of you or into someone else. Respect is not given freely, and it is something very sacred to the entirety of the business. Being around as long as I have, there are many who have garnered my respect and whom I have gained respect from.
Like WCF's current Television Champion. The inaugural Infinity Champion. A man who has scratched, clawed, climbed and worked his way to the top of the WCF roster. Teo Blaze, you have gained position here by never looking back. By learning from your mistakes, leaning hard on what works, and consistently stepping up your game. You are the very pinnacle of what it means to be a wrestler in the modern day, and it is an honor simply knowing that I am able to compete in the same ring as you.
It is an even higher honor, then, that you accepted a challenge that places us across the ring from each other. Not only that, but I have an opportunity to test myself with the Television Title on the line. A championship you have held with dignity for the last two and a half months, and built upon its prestigious legacy with every heart-fought defense. A title that you yourself said has become the most sought after title gold in the WCF. And for good reason; for all the great champions in the Dub this past year, few have been able to stand with the honor and dignity that you bestowed upon the TV Title.
Therein lies the paradox, Teo. You currently hold arguably the highest prize in the Dub. But as of One, you also hold the means to challenge for the main strap at any given opportunity. And for all the prestige you have garnered for the Television Championship, you no doubt can do the same for the World Title when you've cashed in that means. This is where things get fun.
A lesser man would show up and drop the TV Championship, knowing he had a World Title opportunity in his back pocket and keeping his focus solely on picking his perfect moment. He would never look back, knowing that his presence in the Main Event scene is his opportunity to shine, allowing himself to be immersed in the neon shadow of his unachieved accomplishments.
But not you. No; you have the grace to defend the title with every ounce of dignity as though it were the World Championship itself. And in that respect, I know I will be up for the battle of my life. The question, my friend, is whether your will measures up to my legend; or if your split attention causes your downfall.
Indeed, my legacy is written in the annals of wrestling history. And with that history comes a certain level of intimidation to those who have heard of it. I could have challenged anyone, Teo; from the current World Champion down. And I could have gotten a shot against anyone, really. But I have an inherent need to prove myself. An inborn necessity to test myself against the very best in the business. And no offense to Noble Savage, but you have proven yourself over a much longer tenure. And while any rookie can have an amazing run, it takes a much stronger will to continue pushing forward when you've stumbled.
This week, my dear Teo, I bring all the pride of Jaice Wilds’ living legend to the ring against what I hope to be the full force of Teo Blaze’s championship status. It will be a battle of blood, sweat and glory, and only one will rise to meet the occasion. And while I fully intend to shake your hand when the final bell tolls, I am just as dedicated to ensuring victory over my most esteemed opponent to date- and leaving Slam as your new WCF Television Champion.
I will see you on Monday, Teddy.

The Order Of Chaos Compound. Something of a mansion within a bunker. I mean, these things are possible when you're funded by an international military syndicate. Wilds walks into the common room, where Damien Kaine and L Verez are talking.
Damien Kaine:
I don't like what she said anymore than you do. But, to her credit, the Guardians have been lacking as a whole lately. So much going on individually that the team aspect has been lost.
L Verez:
She caused Zima, my love and my closest companion, to abruptly walk out of my life, then calls myself and everyone else out in the middle of a live show… and now you take her side?
Damien Kaine:
It's not like that, L…
L Verez:
I need the Guardians to be united. And reaching out to Claire is seriously looking like…
Jaice Wilds:
...like we should have started with asking Seth fucking Lerch first?
Kaine and Verez look up to Wilds, who sits in a bean bag chair. He looks to his companions with a single brow raised, shrugging.
Jaice Wilds:
Look, L. You made one or two minor miscalculations. It happens. Zima is going to be fine; she just has to prove to herself that she can fight on her own. And Hawkins…
An awkward pause as Wilds contemplates his next words, L growing impatient.
L Verez:
You think I messed up on that one? Gods, I fucked up, didn't I? I'm so…
Jaice Wilds:
L, stop. Claire is a bitch for what she pulled. But she joined for the same reason I did; we have a common goal and enemies who might take a little support to bring down. Either she'll understand how important it is for us to work together and fall in line, or we'll do away with her- as a team. Don't get discouraged. We're gonna be fine.
Verez sighs, nodding. Kaine pats his extraterrestrial friend on the shoulder in reassurance, as Wilds turns to face a console above the fireplace.
Jaice Wilds:
Compound General Status. Voice code X-J-W-7-6. Report.
A series of lights whiz about the room, a 3D image of the perimeter is cast in the middle of the room as a female's voice is heard.
Compound Security:
Voice Code confirmed. General Wilds. Three vehicles noted in the compound lot; a helicopter noted in docking bay 4. Currently known presences in the compound:
General Jaice Wilds.
Extraterrestrial Guardians Leader, L Verez.
Guardian Defacto Ally, Damien Kaine.
Wrestling Royalty Queen, Kennedy Matthews.
Kaine and Verez shoot Wilds a look, Damien with a slight grin. Wilds shakes his head, holding up an index finger.
Compound Security:
It is currently eleven forty-three. Temperature outside compound is currently fifty-one; is not expected to elevate above fifty-four today. Regulated temperature within compound is currently sixty-one, with mild diversions in living quarters and parking decks. Expected arrival of one Claire Hawkins in T-minus 3 hours; continued rescheduling suggests arrival is less than imminent. Further inquiries to this subject, sir?
Jaice Wilds:
None at present, Vanessa. Thank you.
Compound Security:
Any time, sir.
The image fades out as Kaine chuckles, Verez rolls her eyes. Damien walks over, dropping into a lounge chair close by Wilds.
Jaice Wilds:
Careful with Lex's seat; he's got that butt groove memorized.
Damien Kaine:
You brought Kennedy back to the compound?? Man, you lucky dog!! Next thing is gonna be wedding bells and…
Jaice Wilds:
Whoa, Dame. Pump the breaks. I made her dinner, we may have had a tiny bit too much alcohol. She crashed in another room. I’m not disrespecting a good woman like that when we've only been seeing each other a few months. Gotta say, I do quite like her, tho…
Verez chuckles; she always has appreciated Wilds’ uncanny levels of respect. She sits in her own seat, listening in as Kaine and Wilds talk about their lady loves.
Wilds:
Look, Z. You know she loves you. Maybe she underestimates you at times. But you know her heart is in the right place.
The extraterrestrial being looks back at Wilds, scoffing. She turns away, visibly upset.
