News directly from the owner of WCF, Corey Black, as he continues to recover from his brutal match against Wade Moor at One - going forward, due to the lack of actual tag teams, the WCF World Tag Team Titles will go on hiatus. At Slam, there will be a Tag Title Rematch from One, and the titles will then be deactivated for the time being. Due to this Corey has instituted a WCF World Tag League in honor of the belts. Two blocks with even number of teams within them battling in a league format, every team in Block A will wrestle every other team in Block A and secure points based on wins, same for Block B. At the end of the league, the winners of Block A and Block B will have a final match to determine the winners!

This Tag League will be entirely random except for two possible exceptions. Should they accept, Jazzy John McCarty and Matt Draven as well as Estrella Luiz and Edwina Lockheart will be allowed to enter the league as a formed team. Everyone else that participates will have a partner assigned to them via LETHAL LOTTERY.

And what do the winners win? Well, funny you should ask. BOTH of the winning participants will be given free reign to make their match at the following pay-per-view! Want a World Title shot? Sure! Want to fight a grudge match with crazy stipulations? SURE!
