Wrestler's name: Ace Gideon
Gimmick: Ace has been wrestling, although unprofessionally, basically all his life. At the age of eleven, after backyard wrestling for three years, Ace gained a stronger interest in professional wrestling. He and his brother started building a wrestling ring in their backyard with old scraps of wood and metal that their dad would bring home from the factory. It took an entire three years to complete, but once it was finished Ace would hold weekly wrestling tourneys with an entrance fee of $5 per participant in his very own backyard.
Ace wrestled in roughly 100 weekend tourneys over the next two years and went undefeated. At the age of nineteen he decided it was time to move on to bigger and better things. Using the money he earned from these tourneys, he set off on a journey to Las Vegas to expand his wrestling career and hopefully make it big. He wrestled in shady gyms for about four years until one day he was watching the news and saw a WCF Sunday Slam commercial come on television.
Ace realized that this was possibly his big break, and set out to become the star of WCF.
Height/weight: Ace stands at healthy 6’2” at 210 pounds.
Hometown: Ace was originally from Gary, Indiana, however, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 19 to pursue a wrestling career.
Alignment (Face/heel/neutral): Face
Appearance/attire: Ace stands at 6’2”, 210 lbs with short spiked dark brown hair. He has a very short scruffy beard (like a 5 o’clock shadow after two or three days).
In the ring he wears black wrestling boots laced with red laces and black wrestling tights with red knee pads. He has a huge tattoo of a star on his chest completely filled with black ink.
Outside of the ring Ace wears average clothes (jeans and a tee shirt, or occasionally a dress shirt with sneakers) and is almost always wearing an Indiana Pacers hat so he’ll never forget where he came from.
Entrance and music: The lights go out. Fog rolls out and “Mastodon – Blood and Thunder” starts playing through the PA system with bright white lights flashing to each note. When the drums kick in, Ace walks out and a spotlight hits him. The spotlight follows him as he begins walking toward the ring. He stops midway to lift his arms to get the crowd excited. He continues to walk toward the ring and crawls into the ring through the ropes. The lights fade out, fireworks go off at each of the corner posts, and the camera fades out.
Style (Technical, hardcore, brawler, powerhouse, etc.): Brawler.
Favorite Moves (At least 5): Flying Lariats, All types of Piledrivers, All types of Clotheslines, Elbow Drops, Flying Crossbodies
Trademark move and description: Bombs Away (Atomic leg drop)
Finisher and description: The Reaper (An airplane spin to a backbreaker to a flying crossbody)
Manager? If so, name and description: Ace manages himself. He cannot afford a manager.
