wcfwrestling.proboards.com/thread/37052/chapter-1-start-books-beginningThis is the part where you tell me how bad my RP was. Before y’all begin though, I’ll come clean that the word count was 5388. Between the word count limit being “soft”, the fact that I had 8 opponents instead of 1, and a STRONG distaste for self-editing, I decided to roll with it. Feel free to let this WCF-n00b know whether that was a bad choice or not.

wcfwrestling.proboards.com/thread/37095/chapter-2-me-dynamoAlways appreciate feedback. I took someone’s advice and added a present-day element to the story, so I’d love to hear how that was received, and this was my first time with the 2k word count which made for a much more relaxed writing experience but left me concerned at how good my trash talk quality was without quantity to boost it. And finally, that graphic. Super proud of it. MS Paint FTW. And as for the information, the most-watched WWE PPV was WM28 in 2012, so I paralleled it with the 2012 WCF equivalent which was the One where Balfore fought Black, which felt like a big enough match to use. The ratings for Sunday Night Dyn...I mean Slam were the same ratings from last week’s Raw. I could’ve used random-ass numbers but I’m absurdly incapable of doing it that way.

wcfwrestling.proboards.com/thread/37156/chapter-3-day-relaxNever gonna not ask for your feedback. This week was a tall order not just because I needed to keep an RP about three opponents (and two partners) around 2500 (what’s the line between “overzealous TV style RP” and “World style RP lacking in effort”? Lol) but because of how stiff the competition was on team Contender. I hope I pulled it off. It would be a shame if Dynamo’s “TV Title > World Title” schtick was seen through my performances as so delusional as to be comedy.

What I liked.
There was a certain flow to the shoot that pulled me and made me want to keep reading it. I don't feel like there was anything overly amazing said, but the way it was said was fantastic, the breakdowns were good, and you didn't over emphasize any of it. There was a great flow to the RP, and I love the opening of it, the presentation is awesome.
What I didn't like.
The two different reds messed with me a bit. The darker one was tougher to read on the black background, but that really isn't too big a deal.
End of the day this was a damn fine RP, it had everything you really want, some character build, some humor and a solid amount of relevance to the match. Great work.

I’ll look into other color choices. Dynamo being red is a subtle allusion to the Bible (Jesus’ words are always written in red) and therefore I tried to use “darkred” to match the white-gray dynamic of the other character. But maybe I can use orange or something like that that is still obviously not red but will be easy to read.
As for “nothing overly amazingly said”, I admit I have a flaw with trying too hard to say something that makes me look super clever. In my other place, I was up against a “Christian zealot” who used Evanescence as her theme music (a band who basically took a dump on Christian radio) and the idea was to show that she was a hypocrite but I labored the point so aggressively that it literally became a meme. Oh, and I lost that match so yeah. lol
