Week of April 8th, 2018 Slam
Hey guys! Jordan here! Or you can just stick to Wesley if you want for the in character folk.
So, I see this feedback board is used from time to time, but I wanted to just kick a little life into it! So I can't sit here and tell any of you I'm like the "promo" master or anything, but let me just put this out there. I'll gladly post in this board from now on once per week to let people know I'm around. I'll be calling it the "Promo Corner". I'll gladly review a few promos for anyone who would like a second look (even if its before you post, as there is no problem with wanting to edit after getting a second opinion) but I will only be able to do a certain amount per week (as I do want to help with match writing as well as write for my own wrestler) so I'll probably have to do some sort of first come first serve kind of thing.
I'm new to the World Championship Federation so I can understand if some of you don't want to exactly jump on the offer, but I've been rping since I was a kid at about the age of ten and I'm certainly not inexperienced! So to any interested takers you can always message me your rps or just respond to my posts during the week asking me to give you a look! I'm around pretty much as often as I possibly can be so don't be afraid to just hit me up!
The whole point of a efed is for us as creative writers to enjoy and improve so lets make sure we do exactly that. Nobody writes perfectly, and nobody has learned everything.
Good luck to everyone in their matches this week! Kick some asses guys!
Common Grading Style used: Each method is normally rated from 1 to 5. 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Averaged together like a mean to get your overall grade.
Grading Methods:
Flow: (How well everything goes together. Does it drag? Does it speed up too fast? Does the color coding or spacing cause it to fall out of place?)
Scene Description: (Can you draw in your reader? Make them feel as though they are in that place? That they fully comprehend where you are and what you are doing?)
Character Arch/Development: (Does your character story make sense to the reader? Can we understand your journey thoroughly as we read the post from start to finish? Does the story make sense within that character and her/his gimmick?)
RELEVANCE!! (X2): (You can do great in these other three and miss this mark and completely fall flat. To me this one matters twice as much as any of the other three so you have to make it work. If you do everything right but your talking about everything but your match that week, or whomever your opponent may be then you totally miss the point of being in a efed.)
It has been a while since I've done rp judging (2 years I believe, perhaps 3), but I hope some of you jump on the chance! Looking forward to working with folks if I can!
