In a statement released earlier today, Corey Black's press team outlined his near future. Not surprisingly, it revolves around wrestling.

- Corey will become the full time head trainer for the WCF Performance Center.
- He is in talks to get his own promotion off the ground. A small promotion based in the Mid-West. Minneapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Omaha named potential show locations.

In a recent interview at the WCF Performance Center, Corey Black eluded to not being 'satisfied' with the ending to his retirement tour.

"It just kind of ended, you know? I expected a bit of fanfare, maybe something more than someone so beneath me taking a knee. I thought I was ready for this, I thought EVERYONE was ready for this - maybe not. There is almost no satisfaction in the way this closed out. A Hall of Fame, once in a century career.. I don't know man."
