The sun has begun to set in Iowa, people going home after a long day's work and a meal out. The hotels of Des Moines are mostly barren though, no one really staying in them for the night. In one of the more upscale ones resides Brad Kane and his family. His wife and daughters are along with him for a change as he's working tomorrow night in this very city for another edition of XIII. Of course Brad enjoys going onto XIII for an odd reason. Maybe its the fact he's 2-0 on the card, defeating Logan and then JJ Biggs. Who could forget the last XIII when he called out Kevin Hardaway which lead to the final Master of Horrors match at Till Death Do Us Part.
No matter the case, Brad just enjoys working the XIII shows. In the hotel room resides two beds and a crib for the twin baby girls. The older daughters, Lilly and Lacey, are sitting on a bed themselves looking at a picture pop up book. No words, just fun pictures for the two to look at. In the other bed is Brad, watching the cable package the hotel happens to offer although he's stuck it on ESPN to watch college basketball. Megan is at the table, surfing on a laptop, bored out of her skull while her husband is watching basketball. The twins are standing up, looking at their mother. One of them begins to put her arms out, wanting some attention. Megan doesn't notice but Brad does.
He gets off of the big, comfortable bed and walks to the crib, grabbing one of his twin girls. A smile creeps across her face as Brad goes back to the bed and sits up, helping his daughter sit up too. Brad takes her little hands and starts to make her clap, making noises the entire time. She begins to giggle a little bit, having fun. Megan looks over, beginning to smile herself.
Well, well, looks like you and Sarah are having some fun.
He simply nods his head, still playing with Sarah. Jennifer looks over to see her twin sister having all the fun and extends her arms now. No one notices this until she begins to make a fussy sound, so badly wanting a hint of attention. Megan shuts the laptop before standing up, holding her stomach, walking to Jennifer. She pulls her up from the crib, giving her a giant kiss on the forehead.
There, now you get to have too!
Jennifer looks happy, Megan sitting down next to Brad on the bed. The twins look at one another, smiles still on their faces.
I don't think I've seen happier babies. I thought Lilly was happy but jeez, Sarah and Jenny are just amazing. Look at their cute little faces.
Now the older two are beginning to feel left out. Lacey gets off of the bed and hops up on the one her dad and stepmom are on. She sits behind the twins, watching them having so much fun.
Wanna play too!
You will Lacey, just wait for your turn, okay?
She nods her head, understanding. Lilly continues to look at the picture book before she gets a look on her face. Uh oh, someone shit their diaper! She begins to cry, not liking that feeling at all. Brad gets off of the bed and picks her up, noticing the smell.
Lets go get you changed, stinky butt.
He goes into the bathroom and shuts the door. A few moments pass as the crying stops and the sound of Brad blowing on Lilly's stomach is heard, followed with small giggles. The door opens back up as Lilly is now fresh and clean again. Brad puts her on the bed now, all four of his daughters there.
Lilly feel better?
The smile says it all. Lacey watches Lilly sit next to her, like usual, before giving her a hug.

Megan's holding back the tears seeing the two getting along so well. Brad gives her a kiss on the cheek before Megan turns and does the same with him.
You excited for tomorrow night?
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. Last time I get to compete under a GWC banner, for the GWC World Title against my brother in law, my friends, one last time, it'll be something to remember. Still a damn shame about Willie though. I know what De's going through, losing a child and everything. Heck, I remember when Willie had a crush on you.
I do too. Well just know if you win or lose, we'll always love you and be proud of you.
